Always a hassle free visit whenever I stay here. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, cold AC units & quiet do you can get a good nights sleep. Barbara is always so sweet every time I have the pleasure of having her assist with my check in process.

We will never be staying at this hotel again. the hotel is extremely run down & outdated. There is a very musty smell (mostly downstairs). the room service here was terrible. When we came back, the bed wasn’t even made. Most of the time (for us) the key card didn’t work. (We had to go back to the front desk to ask for a new one) We had to do this 2 times. The only plus here was the location (next to Universal). We otherwise just felt uncomfortable here. Should’ve Just Stayed At Endless Summer.

Hotel was great location wise. Orlando is Orlando which means traffic was expected. But the location of this hotel is sufficient. Less than a mile walk to Universal. Less than a 5 minute drive to the Universal hotel garage. A 20 minute drive to Disney.

The stay was comfortable overall, but the room itself was not as clean as it should have been. While it was tidy, The floor was dirty, the pullout mattress had a fitted sheet on it already and the mattress itself was EXTREMELY weathered and stained looking.

I brought my sanitizing wipes and spray and wiped it all down and sprayed prior to unpacking.

The internet while it worked, ended up being extremely spotty. Overall cell service for the Orlando area sucked so we relied on the internet to help us get service. It was slow and spotty. We did not take advantage of the breakfast because we were not sure if it was complimentary like all the other BW’s we have gone to.

The shower water pressure was minimal and the plug for the bathtub was broken. We had to fit it to the plug to get the bathtub to fill up.

For the parking, we have a handicapped sticker because of our son being disabled, but multiple times during our stay we would see cars with no hotel parking permit or handicap permit parked in the handicapped spot forcing us to have to find somewhere else to park. This was extremely frustrating.

Prior to booking, I took the time to read tons of reviews. Since they were mostly mixed, I thought it couldn't be THAT bad, but it was. Upon check-in, the first room I was provided absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. In addition, the hallway itself did too. Considering these are supposed to be 100% non-smoking rooms, I was confused. I explained the situation to the front desk, and I was accommodated right away. They switched my room, and that one definitely smelled much less strongly. The photos will speak for themselves; honestly, it’s disgusting. The room floor was dirty, the shower was dirty, the countertop was dirty, etc. The pool/jacuzzi area is nice, and I enjoyed my time out there. I didn’t experience any poor customer service; my rating is definitely based on how nasty the property itself is. One night, I decided to take the stairs down instead of the elevator. Lo and behold, there were tons of cigarette butts all throughout the staircase. I figured out why the property reeks: people are smoking in the staircases without any sort of consequences. I’d also like to note that although the hotel bartender, whose name I honestly can’t remember, was very nice, they didn’t know how to make practically any drink. Though affordable, I would not stay here again.
