The hotel is cute and clean but the manager was so rude that I can't give them anything higher. When it was exactly 11:00 he and his cleaners knocked on the door and told us we had to leave immediately because they needed to clean that room. We tried to tell him that we needed a few extra minutes to leave but were told to get out immediately. We left but after standing there watching us to make sure we got out they then did not touch the room. We finished packing our car and then went to speak to that manager again. He told us that we didn't have to stay there in the future if we didn't like his attitude. He would not listen to what we were saying and mocked us instead. It was very disappointing because the rest of the stay was nice.

A group of us stayed here. It's a unique gem even though it does need some work in some areas of the building that was damaged by hurricane Sally a couple years ago. The rooms are beautiful and rustic kind of feel. We came in during a heavy rainstorm and the power kept flickering. It appears many celebrities has stayed in this inn. It really has a lot of character. The beds are comfy and soft. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The homemade cookies are phenomenal!
