Stayed at Sweetwater for the first time to meet someone I met online for our first date. Immediately I felt welcome by the warm greeting from staff at check in and had a wonderful breakfast the next day. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a charming genre of years gone past. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with tasteful accents. Truly an experience to take you away from the stresses of the week! Highly recommend!

Cornelia and staff were the best! Breakfasts and dinner meals during my 5 days were fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds were very inviting. The pool was warm and clean and the jacuzzi was great. It was one of the best B&Bs I’ve ever stayed at and would highly recommend it to anyone and hope someday I get a chance to return.

The staff was wonderful very friendly and helpful! We loved the grounds and the pool and hot tub were nice and warm. We just loved our stay.

I lived in Gainesville for 5 years and have visited a few times since moving. I somehow did not know about this gem. It is incredible. The heated pool was perfect for our mid-February stay. The grounds are immaculate. Staff was very friendly. And downtown is a 5-7 minute walk. For those wanting to head out for dinner, the walkway to downtown is well-lit and I felt plenty safe walking it with my wife and young children. Highly recommend Sweetwater Inn!
