From the moment of arrival, the front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. The building decor was historic, with modern comfortable amenities in the room. The heated pool was delightful. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We had a terrific stay and definitely recommend this oasis if staying in Gainesville!

Booked an overnight stay at Sweetwater Branch Inn as I was in town on a business trip. It was the best decision ever made. It was one of the most charming and intriguing places that I have ever stayed at in a long long time. Just leaning about the history of the building was super informative and interesting. And entering the front door was like walking into a time capsule. All the intricate details in the furniture, on the winding staircase, in the bedroom and just all around felt like a fairytale. I will most definitely be back to spend a longer weekend. The staff were so helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was superb!!! My room and bathroom were super clean. Anyone that decides to stay here will not be disappointed.

Just had my wedding there on Saturday and everyone kept talking about how beautiful and perfect this place is. They were so helpful and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. What a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Arrived late just before their front office closed but the host was very cheerful. Front office closes at 9, so if guests arrive past 9 the owner of the inn should be in touch with the guests prior about where to get the keys etc. breakfast was simple but delicious. The cottage we stayed in was lovely and spacious and clean with separate thermostat for each room (love this!). Overall, we were well rested, had good breakfast and enjoyed the heated outdoor pool.
