HOTEL CABANA

I was provided with the access code to the hotel room ahead of time and confirmed over text message however upon arrival the code did not work at all. I contacted the virtual assistant and even called the number on the service desk door several times without an answer so I couldn’t get access to the room. My phone call was returned an hour and a half later in the evening and the service desk informed me that the pin code needed to be reset and that the battery was low which sounded completely made-up. The service desk person told me they would reach back out the next day to check in and discuss my experience further but they never reach out. Once in the room it was evident that the bathroom sliding door was not properly installed and became unhinged in my first attempt at closing it. I ended up having to re-install it myself, thankfully the glass did not break when it fell on the bed. Finally, the shower drain in our room was also clogged several times and drained out very slowly which was not a pleasant experience. Overall, we expected more from this place and liked the location but the hotel itself we wouldn’t recommend staying at due to poor customer service and the maintenance issues of the hotel.

Rooms are really chic. It's small rooms, but I love how it's minimal. Great for a couple.
Staff are very friendly. A minute walk to the beach.

A local friend suggested Hotel Cabana, and I'm thrilled I took her advice. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the place is cozy, modern, and spotlessly clean. At around $120 per night, it's a steal, especially being close to restaurants yet pleasantly quiet. The beach is just a few minutes away and has an authentic, non-touristy feel due to its proximity to local houses. Free and easy parking, and local coffee in the morning. Access to washer and dryer. ❤ For budget travelers heading to Clearwater Beach, Cabana is a top choice—I'll definitely be returning.

Hotel Cabana is nice and welcoming. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Very close to the beach and downtown.
My only issue was that the bed was not too comfortable. I spent two nights and left with terrible back-pain. The bed frame also had some issues as it would make a loud noise every time I would turn in my sleep, constantly waking me up. Other than that, the area is nice, the hotel has free parking, and a nice pool.
