This little Inn is so quaint and so welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and the atmosphere almost begs you to talk with other travelers. The location is close to Central Avenue, downtown and the places you would like to visit are nearby. I would recommend this Inn especially if you are not looking for a big corporate feel. Rates are reasonable in my opinion and Brian, one of the owners, could not be more accommodating and just plain friendly

This hotel was great. The place is old but charming and clean. Comfortable bed. Super nice staff. The location is perfect walking distance to great restaurants, the pier and the Dali museum. The breakfast was so much better than a continental breakfast. And happy hour was a nice plus.

Hôtel charmant et "historique" donc il ne faut pas s'attendre à des aménagements modernes. Chambre avec du cachet et lit confortable.
Proprios et personnel aidant et sympathique - pas avare de services ou de conseils sur où aller et quoi faire. Le déjeuner continental est excellent - en plus dans un beau décor, et crée des occasions de discussions. Nous avons malheureusement manqué les "happy hours" qui s'y tiennent chaque jour de 17h-19h00.
Très bon emplacement - à distance de marche du bord de l'eau de St-Petersburg et d'autres attraits de la ville, incluant restos et musées.
Séjour de 2 nuits. Une place de stationnement inclue.
Je recommande et y retournerais.

This Inn is like going back in time. It had a beautifully decorated entry with a very accommodating front desk. The owners are very sweet and friendly and full of local knowledge. Our room was quaint and warm (it was cool outside) with antique furniture, warm CLEAN bedding and bath and had all that we needed, including a closet with hangers (unlike the European hotels that have a metal stand for a closet.)
They offer a continental breakfast and a happy hour (5-7 pm) and there is onsite parking and it is quite close to all you might need as far as restaurants and cultural spots to visit. Would definitely go here again and recommend it to anyone who likes the personal touch.

Location is good. But this Inn does not cater to business travelers. Breakfast starts at 8. Internet is slow and spotty. And they would not honor my request for a late checkout for an hour so I could finish work before I got on the road. Wont be staying there again or sending any more referrals to them. Guy that works evenings is very pleasant. From response you can see the owners have nasty attitude and clearly don't appreciate all of my referrals. I've stayed at many historic inns while traveling for business and got much better treatment.

Almost a magical kind of place. Everything that should be clean and modern, i.e. air conditioning, grout, a refrigerator, etc., was included, and all the best of the original building, the basketweave tilework in the bathroom, the wood trim, the furnishings, was beautifully restored. Add to that the good cheer of the innkeepers, the generous 'continental breakfast', and the lobby you really did feel like lounging in and reading the paper, The Inn on the Third is the place I'll recommend to all my out of towners. Three blocks from Beach Drive!

I spent a night at this Inn at the last minute when a reservation elsewhere fell through. I was delighted with the staff at the front desk and the welcoming feeling of the lobby. My room was clean, quiet, cozy and had everything I needed. There was a happy hour gathering for wine/beer and the breakfast was light and healthy. I met three different staff members (I wasn't sure which ones were the owners) and they were each lovely. The room and Inn felt safe and secure.

What a cozy and charming little inn! We came here for a long weekend and had nothing but positive experiences with each and every staff member. The lobby is decorated for Halloween and adds to the charm. The rooms were great, had a modern shower and key/lock. There is a friendly atmosphere among the guests and staff. Really, you can't force the kind of friendliness and joy that filled the air at the Inn on Third. You should come feel it for yourself!

It's your quaint getaway spot. Mere minutes from everything, the Inn on Third provides an experience the big, chain hotels cannot. You'll feel like you're staying at your Nana's house, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's our go-to whenever we need an overnight in St. Pete.
