This place is a fake. No one spoke French nor understood when I asked for common French patisserie items. The patisserie items I did buy left a LOT to be desired. They were tasteless and not made properly or with the right ingredients. They were at least relatively fresh. If you've never been to a real French patisserie, you probably won't mind the place. Everyone else, BEWARE.

We had a lovely lunch at the French Cafe! The food was plentiful and rich. A real nice experience. Our server Alex was extremely helpful! Thank you guys.

The ability to speak French isn’t required. Tucked away in the massive UTC 4 corner mall madness complex is a small slice of France. Stopped for lunch but ended up ordering a delicious Eggs Benedict on a melt-in-your-mouth, buttery croissant with salmon. OMG it was amazing!
Will need to go back to drool over the back goods.

We have lived in Lakewood Ranch for two years, and we have never stepped into this place. I cannot believe how it has transported me to feeling like I’m in a little bistro in Paris itself! The service was impeccable and friendly food was just extraordinary! We will be back again. It’s already one of my favorite places, it has many gluten-free options also so I can’t wait to bring my daughters here!

Great place to eat with good portions .
I enjoy my expresso and a pastry, they also have very nice wine tasting dinner experience once a month, need reservations for those they fill in quick. Good fresh ingredients used in all their dish. Definitely a French atmosphere with the French being spoken behind the counter. A taste of France in Sarasota.
