Worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The location is the only best part about it. Stayed at this hotel for my 27th birthday, as soon as we got there it was crazy busy. Upon getting our room we realised we could hear very loud music which sounded like it was in our room but it was outside next door, we complained to front desk about this as it was extremely loud and we couldn’t sleep, and asked if they could move us rooms which they declined we asked a number of times every day which they carried on saying no. We came to realise the restaurants music speaker was connected to our room door. We couldn’t open our curtains as people from the restaurant would be able to look in. The music started at 10am and continued to 12am! All day! Very inconsiderate. My anxiety has never been so high before, ended up crying as it was too much to bare. We even ended up staying in a different hotel for one night as we couldn’t take it anymore. DO NOT STAY HERE. Only good thing was the location it’s close to the beach

Still currently waiting to get my deposit back and it’s been a full week. Never understand how it takes this long to get a deposit back but takes 2 seconds to charge my card. Other hotel I stayed at I got the deposit back within a day or two. Every time I try to call this hotel I don’t get an answer…?

Update: It has been 16 days now with not deposit refund. I tried talking to the manager about it and I literally heard him say “just tell him I can’t talk” ????. Come on guys it takes day to take the deposit but a whole month and i still haven’t gotten it back…Do better

Decent place to stay. Easy and safe area to walk. I would never us the valet service again though. Self park and keep your keys. The garage is across the street (Pelican Garage). The elevators were out of service and the place was dirty and smelled. Our vehicle was gone through and we had a backpack with a couple bottles of wine stolen.
Only issue we had at the Fairwind was the music and yelling and screaming from the restaurant was crazy loud until midnight the Tuesday and Wednesday nights we stayed.
Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the restaurants courtyard and seating area.

Stayed here with my spouse to celebrate our 13th year anniversary. Front desk was very kind, and everything was super conveniently placed. The hotel itself has restaurants that u can order food from straight your room, many restaurants in the streets nearby... The beach is about 2 blocks. I would definitely recommend

No amenities, no parking, no vending machine. Location is at the north end of south beach so you have to walk a few blocks down ocean dr. if you prefer being closer to all the activity.
I do not recommend going in March unless you are a young and on spring break. Hair dryer didn't work.
Room and service were nice.
