Hotel is amazing! The staff is so kind and helpful, the location is actually perfect, and there’s a beautiful view in front of the hotel. There are volleyball courts across the street from the hotel and past that is the walkway to the beach. The beach is so close it’s amazing. There’s also so much life on the street that the hotel is located in. So many restaurant options and cute places to take pictures. Not too much noise at night which is amazing. Breakfast is so good with the perfect amount of options. There are tables to eat breakfast outside which is such a nice way to start the day! Rooms are a cleaned super well everyday. Literally everything is within a walking or biking distance which is amazing. So much to explore in Miami Beach and the hotel is in the center of it all! Love this place, will definitely stay again!

Unser Eckzimmer mit Kingsize Bett am Ocean Drive Ecke 7th Street war wirklich wunderbar. Neu und stilvoll eingerichtet. Morgens kann man sich von der zwischen den Palmen aufgehenden Sonne wecken lassen. Noch früher kann man Kreuzfahrtschiffe sehen, die den Hafen von Miami ansteuern. Und Abends tobt das Leben am Ocean Drive, wobei es an diesem Ende schon wieder ruhiger wird und das Avalon auch keine lärmende Gastronomie beherbergt. Das Bad war klein, aber ebenfalls stilvoll und sauber, mit der in den USA sehr verbreiteten Badewannen-Dusche mit Vorhang. Der Service war gut, lediglich an der Rezeption wäre zu manchen Zeiten vielleicht noch eine Spur Luft nach oben. Das Frühstück (ein "amerikanisches kontinentales Breakfast") war für Ortsverhältnisse reichhaltig ohne Plastikgeschirr und kann im Speiseraum oder auf der schönen Terrasse genossen werden. Die Preise sind je nach Wochentag und Saison sehr unterschiedlich und reichen von "noch im Rahmen, besonders für die wunderbare Lage" bis "für meinen Geschmack dann doch zu teuer". Die neu renovierten Eckzimmer sind nur direkt über die Avalon Website zu buchen.

Das Restaurant hat nur abends geöffnet und serviert leckere Gerichte (vor allem aus dem Meer) zu Live-Musik auf der Terrasse. Preislich allerdings im oberen Bereich am Ocean Drive.

My fiance and I stayed here in November. We both had an amazing time. We had the top floor corner suite. Great view. Right on the beach. There is a bar downstairs. Staff was extremely nice. Room was clean. There is a cvs right next to it. Will be coming back
