My husband and I stayed here with our baby girl and loved it that we extended it by a night. It was an additional splurge as the hotel is pricey especially during the time we went, but we loved the resort feel with the two swimming pools and being beachfront, which was so convenient with our baby. Our room was huge and had a beautiful oceanview that from the moment I saw it I got emotional and we decided to stay longer. We also loved how kid friendly it was.
We ate at the market a few times and some items were better than others, but way too expensive. A cappuccino at $10 is exaggerated (coming from someone who lives in Europe).
The staff were all so kind and helpful. It’s definitely a luxury hotel and ambiance but doesn’t feel pretentious. The location is excellent as it’s walking distance to many things but in a less busy area so not the center of “loudness” of South Beach. We would definitely stay here again.

I went here twice on a vacation with my family. The hotel is beautiful, though (as expected) everything is extremely expensive. We all had a great time and all of the people working here were very kind and helpful!

This place is terrible. It doesn’t deserve even one Star. It’s very old and looks nothing like the pictures. All the good reviews has to be fake. The construction noise wake me up everyday and couldn’t sleep peacefully. “Ocean view” Is what they call it , it’s construction view and the beach is far away.There was no pool, no restaurant and they tell you that after you arrive which is very low and unprofessional. The girl at the front desk was sweet.

Location was great. The scenery we had from the room was quite beautiful during the day the room could use a lot of attention. You can tell an upgrade was attempted, but fell short on the small details. Customer service at front desk was wonderful. Parking was an issue they do offer parking, lots across the street not too big of a space and whoever is running the front desk has the stretch their arm out to unlock the gate which I found quite funny lol but all in all it was last minute again close to the beach view was beautiful so if you are staying for a night or two, no harm ????????????
We received warm welcome from manager Christopher as well as a bottle of Moet and some macaroons. Restaurant Matador Room is opened by Jean George and the arroz con pollo is just amazing.
