I recently stayed at the Duca D’Alba Hotel in Rome, and while I appreciate the excellent location and the courteous staff, my experience fell short of expectations. We were placed in an annex building with a separate entrance.The room provided was smaller than anticipated, which could have been manageable, but several other aspects were not.
Firstly, the room's only window was equipped with shutters that could not be opened, denying us any natural light throughout our stay. This made the room feel claustrophobic and necessitated the use of artificial lighting, which, frustratingly, flickered irritatingly. The bathroom door was also malfunctioning, difficult to open and close properly. To compound our discomfort, we experienced a complete power outage in our room for over 8 hours one night, preventing us from charging our devices and forcing us to navigate the dark space.
On a positive note, we were offered complimentary breakfast, which was not included in our original booking. While we appreciated this gesture, we found that if one were to pay for it, the cost would not be justified given the quality and quantity of the food available, even early in the morning.
Despite the prime location and the politeness of the hotel staff, these issues significantly impacted our stay. It's with regret that I say we wouldn't choose to stay at the Duca D’Alba Hotel again.

Very happy with the service by all reception staff including cleaners.Great location next to Collesium and train station and restaurants.

Only 800 meters from the Colesseum, this hotel is tucked away on a typical, narrow Italian street with bars and restaurants right out the front door. We chose this location for its proximty to the Roman Forum and Colesseum. This is a niche hotel that is great for relaxing at the end of a long day. The bed and furniture in our room was extremely comfortable and the semi-private balcony was just delightful. Should we return to Rome, I would go back to this hotel.

Le débit de l’eau de la douche très très peu puissant pas évident pour une femme de se laver les cheveux la bas car pas de pression!
Les produits de soin on ne sait pas ce que c’est il est indiqué shampooing sur tout
Une bouilloire et du thé et café minute son présent dans la chambre. Un frigo. Une petite terrasse. Ascenseur très petit et lent.
Literie impeccable d’un blanc irréprochable.
Mais malgres ça si je retourne à Rome je reprends cet hôtel
