If you go to hostels so that you can briefly sort everything at the front desk and not deal with people and phone calls... Avoid this one. Some of the rooms are not even in the same street as the reception. There is a chance you don't even need to go to the reception because Franco will just pick you up somewhere random, put you in a car and take you elsewhere. You aren't told about any of this in advance. The main building smells of cigarettes and has rubbish everywhere. I didn't get a towel (despite them being advertised) until another day. The bathroom was clean, however after someone checked out from the room the bed wasn't made and the wet towel wasn't picked up for another two days. Not worth the price. Excellent location though

I'm not one to be fussed by run down hostels, but this was £50/night for an extremely run down place. See images for how unclean and unkempt it is (mould in the bathroom). Mattresses and pillows are super old. Just felt grimy and like I couldn't relax. Check in is not flexible - took me a whole day and 3 texts to get hold of the owner so I could check in at a very specific time. Even then I arrived at the specified time and still had to text him that I'm here, after which he said he'll be there in 10 minutes. Only plus is the location.

Other than the location being good ( close to Roma termini, close to main attractions by walk) this hostel is so bad. Dirty, not well maintained and again so dirty. The shower and toilets were disgusting as well as the rooms. The problem is that it’s not even cheap!! Really dont ruin your stay in Rome by staying in this hostel
