THE TRIBUNE HOTEL

Stayed at the tribune hotel a couple weeks ago for 4 nights for my 30th birthday trip with my husband. We loved it. Our room was very comfortable and we loved being close to Villa Borghese. We walked to the city center every day and walking back was mostly uphill which hurts but was an amazing workout after stuffing our faces with all the amazing food Rome has to offer. We usually never go to a hotels restaurant but ended up going up to the rooftop restaurant twice. Once for drinks and an appetizer and another time for drinks and tiramisu. Both times we were blown away by how delicious the food was. The absolute best thing about the hotel was how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff was. From the moment we arrived to check our bags until we got picked up for the airport, everyone was incredible. We were greeted with smiles and they always offered to help get us a ride or restaurant reservations. One person in particular made a real impression. Illaria and I exchanged a few emails before the trip as I wanted to ask about checking bags and asked for restaurant recommendations. She got back to me right away and was so helpful. I'm glad we got to meet her. She was there almost every day until the day we left and I told another staff member to tell her goodbye and thank you. By the time our plane touched down back home in the US, I had an email from her thanking us for our stay and that she hopes we had a good time. It was above and beyond service and I was really impressed. Hope to come back again someday!
