COASTLINE HOTEL ^{* * * *}

We're heading for a tough period ahead so we decided to go for a relaxing weekend and gear up :)
We stayed in a deluxe Seaview room on the 6th floor. The view was lovely. The beds are comfortable and the Nespresso machine really is the perfect touch! :)
It's a lovely property with good facilities, the indoor pool is lovely, and more so the outdoor pools (obviously we did not use the outdoor pools in February).
Its quite isolated so getting to restaurants on foot could be tricky, however they have some nice restaurants on the premises. We dined at Vecchia Napoli and it was delicious. If we should go by smell, the food at Guzeppi's smelt delicious too.
Breakfast is great. They have a large selection of freshly prepared food that was replenished all the way until closing time. The hot food selection is lovely and includes pastizzi - a typical Maltese savoury pastry.
Ideally one should never experience issues when on vacation, but when it happens...and these things do happen... the way it is handled takes the experience from a memorable one to a nightmare.
We came across a technical issue while residing here, Italo and Philipe have been so nice in handling it that honestly, I cannot fault them in anyway.

Has a nice beach at the other side of the road. Access is not hard but, we had an issue with petrol residue in the sand. It was unvisible until we are at the room and all over our feet was covered in petrol.

I dont know if there is a way to clean it from the sand, but i hope there is.

İt was a good experience overall.

It is the shxtest experience ever, we checked out immediately after facing all of the nightmares within 20mins — (1) hotel reservation payment was made in advanced for seaview yet received block of building view, (2) shouting noise, (3) fire alarm beeping non stop, (4) door knocking for inspection several times, (5) maintenance team was running upon door opened and stepping up onto tea table for inspection. Not even a star I would like to give, once is more than enough!

My first rating was based on an unpleasant experience which we encountered while staying at the hotel. However, the interest, the follow-up, and the way the issue made me change the rating. It must have been an unfortunate event.
