SLIEMA MARINA HOTEL ^{* * *}

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel.
Très bon accueil et gentillesse du personnel.
Très bon emplacement proche ferry
Mais nous avions une petite chambre sombre, pas de fenêtre.
Odeur d'humidité en entrant dans la chambre.
Climatisation bruyante.
Flexible de douche cassé.
Peut être y avait il de meilleures chambres, nous n'avons pas pu changer car hôtel complet

1 star for the people working in reception. The staff there were really welcoming, friendly and willing to help. Also the hotel location was good for taking the ferry or bus. However, that is where the positive aspects of this hotel end.
The room is nothing as advertised on many websites. The rooms are not maintained in a good condition (see photos). Plugs weren't properly in the wall. The bath drain was poorly fixed. Broken bits and bobs here and there.
The bathroom had 1 window with another wall half a meter next to it. Opening that window made the whole room smell bad.
The toilet although it looked clean it smelled dirty.
The bedroom has 1 window looking at a wall with an outside corridor. Looking outside that window, one could see where the hotel kept lots of staff which was very messy and not professional.
Every day at 07:00 we were woken up by lots of hammering and banging outside our room.
The WiFi reception was bad and speeds were extremely slow.
The phone reception was also very bad.
The corridor carpet outside our room was not glued properly with lots of flapping pieces when walking.
The TV remote was not working.

Emplacement de l'hôtel très bien avec restaurants à proximité.
Personnel très agréable, souriant aussi bien le service du petit déjeuner (Chloé) que le personnel de la réception, le responsable.

Ett enkelt hotell som ger vad det ska, sovplats, god frukost och bra bemötande från personalen. Läget är lugnt men centralt i Sliema med nära till restauranger, lokalbussar, turbåtar och 15 minuters promenad till klippbadet på norra sidan av sliemahalvön.
Provade aldrig takrestaurangen.
Vad rummet kunde haft mer av var möjlighet till upphängning av blöta strandhanddukar och ursköljda badkläder.
Golvstädningen kunde också vara lite bättre. När jag trodde jag tappat något på golvet och tittade under sängen fanns det några dammöss där och några fanns väl längs med golvlister också.
Trots allt är vi nöjda med veckan och skulle ni välja att bo här eller i närheten så missa inte Ta' Kris maltesiska restaurang runt hörnet från The Marina. Obs. bokning krävs oftast. Vi kom dit 4 pers en torsdag och fick boka på lördag.
