BEST WESTERN PLUS LARCO HOTEL

This hotel is the hotel we always stay at when we come to Cyprus. It is a very nice hotel with nice, clean rooms which even have a small kitchen. It has a really good swimming pool outside and a giant gym and spa in the top floor the restaurant and room service is excellent and the bar makes magnificent drinks. In all for the things it has the price is very low but our last stay came to cost us much more than what we expected. During the night a thief came and stole all the clothes from the people in the first floor balconies (including us). We had many pieces of clothes that were put to dry including several pairs of shoes that were all stolen. Of course it is not the hotel’s fault that a thief came (although they could have put up a sign saying not to put stuff in the first floor balconies during the night considering how low they are) but the real problem was how the hotel responded to this. When we went down to the receptionists they were completely impassive and didn’t care as if we just told them there was an ant on the floor. We came down several times and they just told us to wait, never even apologized or anything. We felt as if the staff didn’t care about the fact that various hotel rooms had just been robbed. After a few days when we left the manager gave us back 1 free night which definitely does not compare financially and emotionally to what was stolen to us but the real issue was the carelessness of the staff. This is a shame as this is an excellent hotel but unfortunately the lack of manners that the staff have here can severely be improved. The only person who was ever nice to us was the barista. The manager was also very friendly and I understand it is not his fault for what happened but it would have really been good for the reception staff to have somewhat of empathy. I am very sorry for this experience I have had and hope that next year if we go there this does not happen again. Kind regards.

A central place, very close to the promenade, an excellent pool and a rich and varied breakfast.

Superb two nights here. Absolutely faultless - rooms, breakfast, lunch, supper & bar service all terrific. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Would return for certain. Thanks for a great time :)

Very nice hotel, with good breakfast and clean rooms, everyone is polite and I had a good time there
Except Marya from the reception, every time I asked for something she rolled her eyes, she doesn’t even look at you when you talk with her. The other guys from the reception was so nice, friendly and polite
Lady Daniela from breakfast is a precious employee of this hotel, she takes care of everyone, really nice customer service
