Clean room, yet had plumbing issues during our visit. Evident by the hole in the parking lot with the plumber's truck parked over top.

It’s everything u need. A bed, a kitchen, comfortable bed and enough parking. Add to it, an 8min (.3 of a mile) walk to the Village to enjoy the restaurants or to use the gondola to get to the ski resort. All this at the fraction of the price of the other higher end hotels. I will stay here again and would recommend to family members

Holiday Haus does not pretend to be Holiday Inn. However, it is the perfect spot for Mammoth in the winter. Located a 6 minute walk in ski boots to The Village and the gondola to Canyon Lodge as well as 6 minutes in shoes to restaurants, sporting good shops and breweries. If you don’t like to walk, the free shuttle is steps away from the driveway.
Since Mammoth is an outside town the kitchen king was great: clean, historical themed and amenities to prepare breakfast before the day and a backpack lunch for the day. We ate out each night, but I am sure the kitchen could handle dinner as well.
If you are looking for clean affordable accommodation near everything. Holiday Haus was perfect for us.

I stayed both at mote and hostel, it’s the same property just different buildings. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Motel rooms were clean and warm. It’s a little bit outdated but cozy and a wonderful value for its price. Hostel building seems to be a little bit less taken care of, but nothing critically bad. Holiday Haus is 5 minutes walk away from the Village Gondola that will take you straight to the Mammoth’s Canyone lodge. Also great that the Holiday Haus takes a good care of its parking lot during snowstorms.
