Easily one of the best dining experiences in all of Mammoth, hidden at the Tamarack Lodge in plain sight. The intimate dining room is perfect when the snow is falling and cold outside. The food and wine list is very well curated. I’ll definitely be back.

Super delicious steak and starter of smoked carrot soup. Great helpful and friendly service from the waitress too. Hopefully be back again in the future.

The elk medallions deserve their legend status. Equally legendary: the risotto underneath; the wines selected by sommelier Joshua; the chocolate mousse topped with raspberry compote; the fine touches, like the honey complementing the balsamic vinegar salad dressing. This was an experience!

What a beautiful location. Small great dining room, excellent service and a Chef preparing your meal which was wonderfull.. A dining experience you would always remember. Thank you again

Really great appetizers and main menu. Desserts good, if you have room for them. Nice wine list and a full bar. RSVP A MUST and do so in advance!!! Must have the lobster ravioli and elk medallions.

Had an amazing dinner here with my dad. It is a small private fine dining restaurant in the lodge with a very tiny bar. I had two Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashion's which were delicious, and we had the Lobster ???? Ravioli for an appetizer and I ordered the Elk ???? main course for dinner which was amazing and mouth watering. I also had the Chocolate Mouse for desert which was fantastic. Highly recommend this place for fine dining. I believe reservations need to be booked a few days or weeks in advance, since there is a total of only none tables in the dining area. Fine dining also means high prices for excellent food and service, so don't expect a cheap bill for an amazing experience. I believe we spent about $100 or more per person.

Is really bad, no flavor no taste ,for the expensive we will expect the food was tasting and deli, very disappointed about the place i needed to go the bath to spit the food,the only one is the bartender is really good!

I had dinner with my daughter while staying at the lodge and we were really pleasantly surprised! The lobster ravioli and the mushrooms soup were really excellent! Congrats to the chef who is doing an amazing job!

Rustic and romantic setting with a view of Twin Lakes. Friendly staff and the most uniquely prepared and delicious food. Definitely my favorite place to eat. Love Tamarack Lodge too!

Open at 11am if it wasn't for the lady cleaning out side the Waitresses wouldn't of checked ! 45 min later a cuple got infront of us & she sat then down first ????????♀️????????♀️.
Need to pay more attention!

Love this place. Soup was perfect, elk medallions are very good, and desert was a dream. But salad was a joke.

Loved this experience. Staff was top notch and very friendly. The food (Filet Mignon) was perfectly prepared and presented, we had never had steak this tender before. Wonderful meal and atmosphere. Loved every minute!

Awesome cocktails at the bar here. Bartender is excellent with many premium liquor selections. Live entertainment in the evening on the weekends.

Unexpectedly great. First time staying at the lodge. It is very old school, but lodgy and cool. I didn’t know they had a restaurant so decided to try it. It was super cool. Definitely romantic…..too bad my wife wasn’t with me. Everything on the menu looked good. I had the summer salad and the sea bass. Both were quite good. The waitress and others were fantastic!

We went for lunch on their patio. The food was solid, but portions were a little smallish for the price. I'm sure their dinner entrees are better sized. Great service.

Dinner was fantastic and our server, Mike, was outstanding. He made the atmosphere very enjoyable and helped my friend pick her wine out (which she loved). Lakefront is perfect for a nice meal out. Food always on point.

I have to start off by saying weak management is obvious based on our negative experience.
Our waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu or basics regarding liquor. BTW serve your drinks off a tray.
I ordered our appetizer twice. She forgot. I was very specific about my pork chop prepared medium rare. It was served well done and had to wait and wait for the check back. My go to is Convict Lake Restaurant. Consistent professional waitstaff and the chef always delivers. Restaurants are only as good as its management.
