Pretty good Dungeness crab omelette, chicken and waffles, mimosa and the Hugo cocktail. Coffee was good too. Service was wonderful. Would go back!

If you are vegetarian , do not bother going to this place. There is no vegetarian options and there clearly is no intent to make anything for vegetarian guests. Had the worst experience at this place.

We made reservations through Resy and made a special note for a high chair. When we got there and they saw our baby, they said they have no high chairs in a matter of fact way. The hostess wasn't accommodating and borderline rude. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reservation on the spot because they lacked accommodations. It's not an accident they don't have high chairs. Word around town is they don't like kids in their restaurant. Found a much more accommodating spot down the road and turned around what would have been a sour ending to our trip. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. If your single or a couple that drive a Tesla, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I kind of don't want to tell anyone about this place. It's so good I don't want to share it. I want it all to myself. Wish I could afford to just employ them all as my personal Chefs on my billion dollar yacht, and sail off into the sunset with the entire bunch. Thank you for being so good.

We traveled out here from outside Philadelphia, PA. Not just for the beauty of the coast but also for the food. We where not disappointed! This was by far the best dinner we have had on our trip so far. The wine was superb as well. Definitely not a place you leave feeling as though it was not worth it. Thanks again for a wonderful dinner.

Super tasty and fresh food. The restaurant and staff made our anniversary special and even surprised us with fresh red rose petals to brighten our tabletop.

Overall an un-enjoyable experience.
Food is probably some of the best you can get in Mendocino but my overall experience was not enjoyable, from a prior date (out-of-date) wine menu to the missing mussels in the cioppino (basically it wasn't cioppino but clams in red sauce) to the 40 minute wait for main course. Just an overall frustrating dining experience.

Simply AMAZING food experience! If I can give 6 stars, I would. The quality of food rivals one of my favorite top restaurant in Las Vegas! What a gem in Mendocino. Julian (Executive Chef) is probably one of the youngest and most talented chef of our times. Shout out to Rebecca for excellent service! Will definitely be back- Cafe Beaujolais!

There have been several owners since my mom owned Cafe Beaujolais. I have not visited in a long time and there are many changes. Despite the changes, it feels more like it does in my memories than ever since it now has owners who love and care about it as much as parents did again.

Our favorite meal!
The service was great, the little dining area at the back of the main building was nice and cozy. We loved the food, especially the foie gras and black cod.

Make sure you make a reservation in advance!

We had both brunch and dinner here. The steak was full of gristle and barely edible. The service was lacking as we hardly got refills. Food was eh.

A very very good meal. On par with some of the 1 Michellin star restaurants we’ve been to in San Francisco. The duck and foie gras are a must!

The food and service is above average. My problem is with them being unwelcoming to children and families. I made the reservation for 4 adults and 1 baby. They do not have any highchairs or booster seats. We won't be back.

We had an amazing dinner here tonight. I had a special appetizer of spot prawns and risotto and had the local black cod dish for my main entree. Every bite of both dishes was delicious and my friends food was also excellent. I strongly recommend. Their Brickery pizzeria is also standout and their cafe the Waiting Room has amazing coffee and pastries in the mornings. Since the new owners took over in 2018 they have built this place into a standout food destination and have added so much to this community. Thanks for an amazing meal at the cafe and for many more delicious casual meals at the Brickery and the Waiting Room!

A group of 5 of us spent an evening at the cafe and loved it. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. I ordered the halibut which was super buttery and flavorful. Definitely recommend if you're looking to treat yourself!

My partner and I liked this place so much we went there twice for lunch on a recent weekend trip.
The pizza is absolutely delicious! They even had one vegan pizza option which was good! I also tried one of their seasonal fig and goat cheese pizzas.
It's the perfect place to sit outside on a rare sunny day. Dog friendly also!
