Hands down our favorite meal in Sonoma! Visiting from Oregon and stopped in with a larger group for late lunch and were blown away by the service, the atmosphere, the owner, and the FOOD. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful and clearly cooked with intention. The owner brought out his grandmas gnocchi and we all agreed we’d never tasted anything so good in our lives. If you’re visiting Sonoma you MUST add this to your list! Thank you for the wonderful meal and hospitality!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. Not only was the service impeccable and the staff incredibly attentive, but the food was also outstanding. Every dish I tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The ambiance added to the charm of the place, making it a truly memorable dining experience.

We arrived for an 8pm reservation at 7:50pm and the host was very short with us and said that we were early and to come back at our actual time. We had no problem waiting for our time but we were taken aback by his tome. We then sat down and our one vegetarian guest asked 1-2 questions about a dish and the waiter very rudely and abruptly said “this is not Olive Garden. You can’t make your own pasta”. We told the waiter that his response was rude and my elderly aunt just wanted to know if there was a dish that had vegetables in it. Hr apologized but those two interactions set the tone for the night.

The food is average (Cafe La Haye and Girl and the Fig are way better) and not really worth it.

We had an very good meal here. For starters. the bread was delicious. That little detail is oftentimes overlooked, so it's appreciated when it's good. The marinated radicchio / burrata salad was excellent. We found the lasagna quite rich (the grana padano, maybe?) and the sauce wasn't our favorite. The panna cotta was very good, though somewhat bland. Service was exceptional.

Home made pasta was delicious and hit the spot after wine tasting. I had the tortellini in light cream sauce and my daughter had the papparadelle with duck sugo. The service is friendly and fast. The owner is a delight

Super find just off the main square. Cozy and great food with great service. We will be back.... Do it!

Delicous Italian food

I have family that live in Sonoma and every time I visit we have a wonderful meal in this authentic locally owned Italian restaurant. It is always memorable with both great food and personal service. The owners are usually there mingling with their guests and making you feel welcome. If you let them make suggestions from the menu you won’t be disappointed. This is a great choice to experience a taste of Tuscany without leaving the states. Be sure to give yourself time to relax and enjoy their Italian hospitality.

Really Good Affogato

We came with our family to Sonoma and stopped by this delightfull restaurant. The food was excellent, the owner was very attentive to every detail and the service was outstanding. If you want to taste real italian food at a very cousy atmosphere this is the best place. We really enjoy our stay and definetly will come back.

Great spot in Sonoma. We got the tortellini and the penne contadina for our mains, which we enjoyed. Our starter was ok, but wish it could've had a little more mozzarella. We shared the chocolate tart, which was rich. Liked it, but didn't enjoy the cherry sauce with it. Our server didn't seem to know much about wine pairings and it was nice of her to give us complimentary wine at the end. She said it was moscato, but didn't taste like moscato at all because it was not sweet.

Highly recommend the pasta.

Delicious Italian food! My husband and I were able to eat outside on their back patio. We both had pasta dishes and loved them. My husband had the Gnocchi and he is particular about his gnocchi and he raved about it. I had the chicken and veal raviolis which were also delicious. We did bring our own bottle of wine but they have a nice list. Service was excellent and not rushed. If we had spent more nights in the town of Sonoma we would have gone back.

I do not understand the reviews. People rave about the quality of the food. I assume they rave about the food at Olive Garden as well then. My believe in restaurant food is they should be able to make it better than I should. The lasagna had no flavor or texture whatsoever. A simple tomato and mozzarella dish was overcomplicated. The server was amazing. He did everything right. But the food was tasting like food out of a can. If you want good Italian food, it’s better that you watch a YouTube video and do it at home then going here.

A truly special dining experience. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful with pointing out the specialty dishes which were cooked to perfection. Our entire party raved about each dish. The flavor was outstanding from the appetizes, to main dishes to desserts! The outdoor dining area has a great vibe. No better restaurant in Napa/Sonoma.

Lovely Italian food and ambiance . But menus under the glass table setting are tacky and unnecessary for a fine dining restaurant...I strongly recommend removing them.
