VENDANGE CARMEL INN & SUITES

Beautiful property, neat and close to everything. The staff was personable, helpful and went out of their way to ensure our experience was memorable. Cindy, at the front desk was a pro and personally showed us to our room.

Great staff, beds, and grounds. We went over Thanksgiving with our 3 dogs (50, 20, and 15lbs). All of us were welcomed warmly. Definitely planning to book a stay again soon.

A great inn to sleep and relax!

It's a small Inn. We got a room that was facing the street. It was fine. Not much traffic. Loved the silence at night to sleep. Unfortunately the walls are thin. You can hear the people next to you very loud just by talking. If you go make sure you get a room that has a ventilation in the bathroom. We didn't realized it until the next day. They had a small window that was open in the bathroom for ventilation. If you close it and take a shower the whole bathroom is all wet. It was a good room. Not too big. I didn't know if they had other rooms that were bigger. We love the terrace with a big barrel for decor. Small wooden chairs and a table to sit and drink your wine or snacks. It was beautiful just to look out. Our room looked out at the other rooms and the terraces. The service people were nice and welcoming. It's when you need a towel or something they either get it for you or they tell you to pick it up in the office. Bring your own soap. The soaps were very small and it was old. It cracked and crumbled when I used it. No AC. They have tower fans. They have one vent for the heater. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Cyndy, one of the managers at the property, made this visit so great. She confirmed, modified, checked our reservations with us on the phone ahead of time. Made changes as we requested. Got us a great room and everything we needed on our stay. She was so helpful that we could just relax and breathe easy, and her personality was just delightful.
The location is super convenient for a quick drive or unhurried stroll downtown. Nice views of the mountains over the many interesting plants and trees on the brick paver and multi-trellised property. Super low key. If you want people fumbling over themselves to serve you this is not your place. Rooms are super clean, airy, and bright. Beds are top notch. Good coffee in the morning in one of the mini pots in the room.
I found stay here again in an instant.
Super easy drives to everywhere you’d want to go. Close the highway 1.
