The La Contessa was delicious! Sun dried tomatoes, pesto and fresh burrata sandwiched between soft, flavorful focaccia, with a side of arugula salad with beets. Our group also tried Tiramisu (not the best - very heavy on amaretto), and key lime pie which was alright. The service staff was kind and patient.

This place is an absolute local gem. They simply do everything well. This place is criminally underrated because it’s in a small town.

4.5 stars. Great food and super cute patio. One highlight was the variety in their wine list, and was able to find a bottle Cinque Terre Wine from Linguria Italy. However, we felt service was lacking as it took multiple requests to get an ice bucket for the wine bottle and felt pacing with ordering could be improved. Despite this, the food quality and atmosphere easily made up for lacking service. I would recommend the pesto pasta and asking about the daily specials as the halibut was very fresh.

Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would most likely still come back. Maybe service is better inside rather than on the back patio.
