Had an excellent tour with Brian through Chinatown and little Italy. His knowledge, sense of humour, and love of the area created a unique and throughly enjoyable experience. Though the tour was only supposed to be 4hrs, we were touring for over 5 due to some bonus food "side quests". Worth every penny!

This food tour was the best! I’ve been on several food tours throughout the world, and this was excellent. Our tour guide Brian was knowledgeable and humorous. We experienced many different tastes of the area and got a nice history too. Highly recommend this tour and looking forward to doing another with this company soon.

We could not have asked for a better tour and tour guide than Andre! I happened to be celebrating my birthday that day and was with my 2 best friends on a girls trip to SF and Napa. This by far was the highlight. Andre was so personable and informative. We learned so much, enjoyed so many delicious treats and meals (that moon cake, omg!!), and visited so many interesting places. The group was just big enough and sitting down together a few times for tea and 2 meals was a nice break for a chance to get to know fellow travelers. There happened to be a gentleman playing the Erhu on the street, and Andre ran over and asked him to play Happy Birthday which was such a treat! So glad of all the tours available we chose this one! We loved our time in SF and can't wait to come back. I HIGHLY recommend anyone traveling here to make this part of their trip!

Thank you Brian and Tom,

Our walking tour of Chinatown & North Beach\Little Italy was awesome! We had such a great time. Brian(tour guide) was full of great information and background of the city’s history and culinary delights. Since we were a small group he was able to add a few (2) extra stops. We were all full and really liked all the food we ate. From being greeted with onion rolls and BBq pork buns to chocolates from a couple places, excellent tea tastings, Anthony Bourdain's top 3 best hamburgers, then ending the night with Margarita pizza and cannoli. I can’t leave out the delicious baked potstickers, peking duck, spring rolls and shrimp dimsum, then the fortune cookie company, my students loved it all. To any and all contemplating which company to go with I vote for this company as I have been taking my culinary classes on Toms tours for well over 10 years. He is always changing up the restaurants to give us the taste of the town that is the best ever. Just a few tips – remind your group to bring a jacket, know where you can park especially if you have a tall van that might get stuck in the low garages. Thanks again Tom and Brian.

Andre was an amazing guide. He was able to keep all ages in our group engaged for over 3 hours, part of which was in the pouring rain! Book this tour if you want to experience what Chinatown in San Francisco is all about.
