The best hotel in San Francisco by far. Staff are súper friendly and helpful. They even a accomodate us before check in

Great location, lovely rooms and well done to the 'free pop corn' theme. To whoever introduced that, give him/her a raise :)
Even though the area close is dodgy, I felt quite safe, concierge is always there, they lock after hours and plus the street is quite popular and not into any dodgy alley.

I love this hotel and stay here often. The bed is super comfortable, with soft sheets, wonderful pillows, and a fluffy comforter. The Chancellor offers amenities that many higher priced hotels do not, like cotton balls and q tips, a magnifying mirror, a safe, many hangers, a luggage rack, an umbrella to borrow and more. The room is immaculate and attention to detail very high. There are lots of outlets and usb ports. The staff is very gracious and you meet a lot of happy foreign tourists on the elevator, who are eager to explore San Francisco.

Excellent location. There are help yourself coffee tea and cookies all day. and it’s so yummy cookies. Room are very cleaned. Old hotel but well look after. If I come back to San Francisco. I will definitely come back this hotel. Not expensive in a good location and safe
