Wife & I stayed here for 2 nights for a romantic vacation in San Francisco. It's a boutique hotel built in the early 1900s. The rooms are a bit dated, but given the building's age, it's a good compromise to keep up with the times without losing the historic feel. We stayed in the larger room with an extra sitting area. Even for 2 people, I was glad we did. The location was great for getting around anywhere. Close to public transportation. If you come at the right time, you can park on the street, or the garage across the street was convenient

This hotel's service was terrible! I was told I could check-in early, but when I arrived I was denied access to my room. My credit card was overcharge by a considerable amount when I was finally able to check in. I spoke with management, and they refunded me the money. But after I checked out, they called to ask me for more money. They messed up the entire process and made me pay for it. I do not recommend!

This perfect little French themed hotel was the best stay we could have asked for during our first time in SF. The staff was always super friendly & helpful, everything was clean, the theme was VERY tastly done through the building, and the breakfast was delicious as well. Because the hotel is in an old building, there are surely a few things that could use some fixing up, but overall it was a magical stay. The old elevator is super neat too!

Close to Union Square and lots of transport stops. Right on the cable car line at the top of one of the very steep hills! I would gladly stay here again.

- 帶大件行李的情況下，要從Powell street station走上來會有點辛苦（坡很長很陡）
- 沒有電梯，但員工會幫忙把行李拿去房間，員工非常親切熱情。
- 室內沒有空調，有電扇，不過5月天氣不冷沒什麼問題。不確定7-8月如何。
- 建築本身感覺較有年代，地板是地毯式的，或許比較難打掃乾淨？一進去就有點過敏????
- 一樓有供應咖啡????????
- 房間內沒有冰箱
- 熱水很穩水量很大????????
- 交通方便，徒步可到的範圍有不少餐廳跟雜貨店（買水很方便）。

What a creepy place. We stayed 6 nights and during our whole stay there was no heating in the entire hotel, even if they promised to fix it. There were also electricity outages. There were visibly dirty details of the room. The interior felt outdated everywhere, there was a horrible old smell in the whole building. My chlothes still stink from it. At check in the receptionost gave us a key for a room occupied by someone else. I am glad that the people were not there when we entered their room… The breakfast was very simple and cheap, without any option for people with a special diet. I ate there potatoes every day, they were ok.
Some good things: the staff was very nice and tried to be generous, the location is good.

Good slept ???? and breakfast is delicious.

The hot water was non-existent when all 3 of us wanted a warm shower at 4am before we left for the airport but it was freezing cold and we had prewarned them we were leaving at 4am
. The service is not very helpful. They stand there and watch a mother move her bags without even offering to help. I sent them a few emails with no response.

Very good experience! The staff were super nice, they helped us with everything. Even after checking out, we came back to take our baggage and had dinner in the hotel lobby. The room was also quiet and clean. The best thing was probably the breakfast which was both enough and of high quality. Definitely would stay at this hotel for the next trip.

Hidden Gem! Good price! Quaint, small room that was perfect for what we needed. The staff was more than wonderful! Everything was very clean. The French theme stayed true throughout the building. Breakfast was very simple but at least it was complimentary. Would stay here again.

I checked out this morning and then found out I left behind my airpod pro under my pillow. First I called this situation at 11:50am and went to the hotel 4:00pm to pick my airpod. But eveyone from the hotel said nothing found in my room again and again!! Because I was absolutely sure that my airpod was under the pillow, I went to my room #607 with roomkeeper but that room has already cleaned and nothing foundㅠㅠ I activate "find my airpod" but "can't find" What a terrible things happened to me....!! I was so sad all day...and just before sleep, I activate "find my airpod" again, and I was sooooo surprised!!! My airpod is now "2665 Geneva Ave, daly city CA 94014"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, my God!!! I'm still here in San Francisco!! How this situation happen??? How hotel employee do this to the customer!!!??
Do not visit Hotel Of Thief!!!!!!!!! Never!!!

Vriendelijk personeel, mooie klassieke ambiance. Oude originele lift, mooie trappen, hand geschilderde kamers. Kamer met erker aan de voorzijde, uitzicht op de Cable Car kruispunt Bush / Powell Street. Union Square én Starbucks om de hoek. Op een toplocatie, maar géén geluidsoverlast! Kamer was prima, voorzien van kluis en grote tv. Goede bedden en ruime badkamer. Wij miste alleen een koelkastje, verder alles naar wens!

Commençons par le positif l'hôtel est merveilleusement situé en plein coeur de San Francisco un parking payant est juste à côté ce qui permet de mettre la voiture en sécurité.
Nous avons dû changer de chambre car celle initialement dégageait une forte odeur désagréable. Notre chambre était correcte mais ne ressemblait en aucun cas aux photos de l'hôtel point négatif. La télévision ne fonctionnait pas ou très mal quand elle l'avait décidé. Le petit déjeuner est sommaire mais il a le mérite d'exister. Dans l'ensemble le sejour s'est bien passé mais mérite un léger 4 etoiles

Tout-àfait d'accord avec le commentaire de petit futé. La société de location de voiture Alamo se trouve de l'autre côté de la rue. J'ajouterai un commentaire sur les activités: Location d'un vélo pour traverser le golden gate bridge et revenir en ferry, Alcatraz est une excellente visite mais doit être réservée à l'avance par internet.
