Wonderful place with wonderful staff. Our puppy ate something on the floor and they went out of their way to find out what it was. Seriously out of their way. They are the sweetest and we really appreciated it. And of course always the best food!

The salads and sandwiches are pretty good. Ingredients are fresh. They tack on high fees to your bill before ringing you up. A salad and some fries will easily run you $30 before tip (despite lower menu prices). It's kind of dishonest, soon to be illegal, and bottom line the food simply is not worth it.

They always forget to put the dressing in the to go salad box. If I pay an arm and a leg for a salad I expect dressing.

I cried because they stayed open for me. I had an awful week and an awful day and hadn’t eaten in over 36 hours and had no food in the house. I thought I ordered Uber eats for pick up from the blue barn on Polk down the road from me, but in my delirium ordered from Steiner. It was already near close and I knew I wouldn’t get there in time. I called and they stayed opened for me and even gave me an extra drink. Such a little thing but I was truly so grateful I got home and cried while I ate my BLT. They could have easy just not answered the phone after 8:00 and said I didn’t get there in time and closed. Whoever worked at the Steiner location the night of December 28th and waited past close for me to come pick up my order, I love you.

$30 for my salad which they steadfastly refused to toss and then tried to default to a 25% tip for pickup. The food is good, but not worth it. Mixt right next door a lot better.

Really disappointed that they kept their prices the same but decreased the amount of salad by 1/2 in every order.

Will need to find another salad spot. Sadness.

I had a really nice veggie sandwich: tomato, mozzarella, basil, etc. It was fast to receive, just a tad too oily. I wish they had a few more vegetarian options (this was basically the only one).

It’s pretty darn good food and it’s high quality but the portions are not as big as other sandwich spots and they’ve really ramped up their sandwich costs. It used to be $15 for a high-quality yet average sized sandwich and now it’s $21+. I’ve just stopped going here because there are other spots in the neighborhood that are just as good with more food and costs less.

Love this low key, practical setting, with great menu restaurant. Their salads and sandwiches are perhaps some of the best I’ve had. As most patrons are frustrated with the high cost of living and notice how the prices have increased as the portions have decreased, it’s so nice to see a restaurant that understands what we’re all going through. We loved their salads and sandwiches and will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Great food, but be careful, they scam you for an extra 5% service fee on the bill for nothing. Just increase your prices instead of being cowards and hiding behind a tiny sign you hang up.

And then they ask for a tip too. Lol yea right.

You’ve gotta be kidding me with a mandatory 15% tip on takeout after already charging $20+ for a sandwich. There is literally no option to not tip on the card reader, insane. Such a scam.
