We ordered the Jamon y Queso & Espinacas. The Jamon y Queso had very little proscuitto and was a little bland. The Espinacas was delicious, but the ingredients state it has bacon in it and there didn’t seem to be any bacon in it. Love that the empanadas are served warm and a great choice for something to-go before grabbing the ferry.

Homemade empanadas; shrimp-parmesan and apple-cinnamon are highly recommended. A bit on the greasy side from the puff-pastry so beware!!

Very good meat pocket. I had their espinacas $7 (spinach, bacon cheese.) It was delicious! It was served warm and without a wait. The ladies at the counter recommended this one. This was my first time here and had no idea what to order. Her commendation was spot on. Good job crew at El Porteno!

These are great although a bit pricey if you ask me. They're a good quick bite and they taste great, but they could definitely be a bit cheaper.
