Hands down, this is my favorite sushi spot! The fish is always fresh, and the service is always friendly and on point (I love these guys!). Recently tried the new HaRa roll from the changing list of featured rolls. I used to always get the Ox and Tiger from that list when it was offered, but I think I actually prefer the HaRa now. And if you’re not feeling like having rolls, highly recommend the uni, hotate, maguro, ikura (I always add shizo), or basically anything else haha. I can’t get enough of this place… I’m a little crazy for it.

World class sushi and one of a kind experience. Some of the best sushi I have had in the US including Hawaii. Delicious and amazing sake selection as well. Worth the price, worth the visit

This is my go to sushi spot for eating solo. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the sushi is always on point. Highly recommend the featured rolls they update weekly

The maki lunch special was nice. A perfect kale salad with a big bowl of miso soup. The rolls were good and had a few unique flavors.

Ordered the Barley Taps roll and salmon, yellowtail, kinmedai, torched scallop nigiri. Enjoyed all of it! The quality of the fish was really good, my favorite being the kinmedai, ordering it twice.

Walked in around 6pm on a Wednesday and there was space. Seems like a great neighborhood spot, not too uptight, but with quality Nigri.

I am Japanese grew up in Japan. I gave 5 ⭐️!! Super fresh and unique menu. The waitress Kay is such a sweet heart. ???? we ordered chef’s choice, Hey Girl roll and Jackalope roll. I will go back again.

Super fresh fish and good pairing. Their chefs choice nigiri is definitely a must try, as they have fish selections that you wouldn’t necessarily get from a supermarket.

Great sushi! We had the half baked roll and it was delicious, they steam it then bake it, pretty great, our server was very very nice and answered all of our questions!

The food is amazing. Melt in your mouth sashimi and sushi that's unbeatable. As a Torontonian, I might be biased because we can't get fish as fresh, but I was astounded by the sheer variety available. Even the wasabi is better here!

I got the sashimi and sushi tasting plates, and everything was perfect. The chef explained what each piece was, as I was sitting at the bar.

Update: came back 6 months later and it's till just as amazing!

The food was genuinely some of the best I've ever had, the sushi was fresh and you got to watch the chef at work making it! The best part was definitely the ice cream though, it was very rich and creamy but not too sweet. The staff were very nice as well!

Kuma Sushi was a pleasant experience, went there with a Nob Hill Local and had high praise for this place and deservedly so. Menu is pretty extensive with sashimi/nagiris and a lot of sushi selections (Including Veggie options). Ordered shishito peppers and the half baked and hey girl rolls which are pretty tasty.

We read a lot of great review on Yelp and Google Maps and we were not disappointed. Food is very yummy and service is great. The portion can be a bit more generous, but it's good for the two of us. We will come back again when are are in this area!
