We love Japanese food, Sanraku is a great location with a cozy vibe. Saba (mackerel) sushi, fried oysters were huge and pretty good, gyoza potstickers perfectly tender and delicious, california roll standard. Recommend.

It was a good experience, had a lovely time with my son and enjoy a very delicious meal. The personal very friendly, making sure we were satisfied with the food and our needs.

I had Hokkaido Chirashi at this restaurant. The seafood in the Chirashi bowl consisted of chopped scallop, a shrimp, salmon etc. Overall they were fresh. I was particularly impressed by the side items including the pickled vegetables, pickled salmon, and the tempura pumpkin slice, which was very delicious.

This dish was a little bit pricy. Given the price, I expected more seafood in the Chirashi bowl.

Their Una Ten Donburi is incredibly delicious! The menu with pictures makes dining in super convenient. The waitress, a sweet lady, recommended the Una Ten Donburi, and I loved it! The eel melts in your mouth, and the tempura fried shrimp is so crispy, like biting into a croissant! Mixing the onsen egg into the rice doubles the deliciousness! The house salad was a bit salty, so I didn't finish it, but overall, it was a satisfying meal. Definitely recommend it to friends!

Good menu variety, so if you're not a fan of sushi, there are other options like Bento box, Udon & tempura. The sushi was fresh & good quality. They have a good Sake selection as well. The service was good and their prices are reasonable.

A hidden place but worth it. I was referred to this Japanese restaurant from a Japanese desert place, K Minamoto in downtown San Francisco. I tried their Dragon roll, dumplings and edamame ???? as well their 2 beers Sapporo (made in Canada) and Asahi (made in Italy) which are traditionally Japanese. Their tea infused panacota was delicious ???? Check it out and embrace the warm welcome from the sushi chefs as you enter and leave.

Great sushi! Nothing too fancy or over the top, but amazing quality. I got the toro, tempura roll and hot house sake. All great. The sesame chicken that my aunt got was phenomenal!

Was on our way to a different sushi restaurant and happened to see this one. The restaurant was full, which is a good sign. As we were looking at the menu outside the restaurant, 2 patrons leaving told us the food was great so we decided to try it. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. So fresh! We had salmon sushi and a shrimp tempura roll. The salmon melted in your mouth it was so wonderful and the tempura roll was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Friendly staff, very quick turnaround, great-value-for-money menu. A know quality. Been coming here for the last 2 years, recommended by a colleague who always visits whenver he is in town. Ika Yaki and Nabeyaki Udon are their signiture dishes. Highly recommend if you need a quick meal in that part of SF.

One of my favorite sushi spots in SF. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the rolls are a perfect balance of ingredients. The fish always tastes super fresh. I love their yellowtail. They never miss! Take out or dine in, the food will be delicious.

Food and service is good. At first I didn't notice that only card is accepted and asked to pay partially in card and partially in cash, which they kindly agreed.
