It looks a little sketchy at first, but there are some cute details. The food is hot and satisfying, with well-sized portions for a reasonable price. The service is quiet, but competent. Dumplings and soups are great comfort food, while the honey walnut prawns and lemon chicken are a good take on american-style chinese food. It’s worth a convenient detour to eat here.

Disappointing experience. One of our meals never arrived and when we finally asked where it was they said they forgot and the chef had already left for the day. It would have been nice if they communicated to us that that would be the case - especially because it was the dish we were most interested in (the pan fried dumplings which you see in most people’s reviews/photos). We had high hopes for this place given all the reviews but sadly won’t return and don’t recommend it.

Super rude to customers. Came in to order take out and she ignored me for 20 minutes. Then she says it will be 45 minutes. I order and come back 45 minutes later. The food is not even started and the restaurant is half empty. Now it’s another 15 minutes. So yeah 80 minutes of my time to get takeout?

Ordered online, stated 20-30 minutes. It was ready and bagged in 10. BBQ Dumplings were amazing and the shrimp fried rice was also very good.

Delicious! We ordered steamed dumplings, spicy wontons in hot oil, bok choy, and sweet and sour spare ribs were all excellent!!! Bring cash.

You aren't coming here for service or atmosphere. It is alllllllll about the best wings in the city and the fried dumplings and soup dumplings that will keep you coming back again and again.

Everyone hunting for XLB, give me sheng jian bao. These are the best I've had outside of Shanghai. And the staff is nice and welcoming. An SF fave.

Just wow. The quality of food not to mention the service level displayed by the owner and staff were really appalling. So much so , quite honestly this restaurant would qualify for easily the worst Chinese restaurant in San Francisco if not the Bay Area.
We visited , a party of 5 , including an elderly close relative and young child. The owner was quite rude to our grandmother when she asked for an extra napkin during the dinner. Now you get an idea of what kind of place this is. Stay away at all costs. So rude and the food here is way below average.

Soup Dumplings don’t have soup in it.
Very disappointed, Even have 3 out of 10 broken skin at the bottom. Shouldn’t call it soup dumpling
