Nice little Italian place with good food and service

Overall not a bad place but nothing to write home about. Everything was good but not great. Strange smell of vomit that I think was a mixture of a bad cleaning product and cheese from the kitchen?

The host (Joey, I think) was an absolute angel. The food was nothing short of spectacular. But when it came to our table service (Amen, I think), it just felt kind of jaded, a bit rude, and short. Don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t mean, but it just felt like a bit of an mis/match with everything else. This place has a lot going for it- I just think (hey management, are you listening?) they need to trim the fat, shed dead weight and breathe a bit of new life and fresh energy into the place with some cool, welcoming servers. Would I come back? Sure, if someone like Joey was our server!

They don't take reservations which I knew befor going. Once we arrived I put my name on the waiting list and was told that the wait would be 30 to 40 minutes. The actual wait was 1 hour and 20 minutes. And once seated we waited another 10 minutes for the server to take our order and then another 20 minutes for the food to come. And we had ordered pasta which we were told was the food that would come.the quickest. Once we finished we asked for the check which took another 10 minutes to arrive. We had a concert to attend so we left without dessert or coffee.
