If you’re looking for that home made breakfast place in San Francisco, then this would be the place for you.
The food looks like it’s coming out of your kitchen, no fancy style, just good food.
I went for the big guy’s breakfast, definitely needs a big guy, a two butter pancake short stack, 2 sunny side up eggs, a flat sausage, bacon and some fries, I will give that a 4/5.
The cappuccino was really good, very well presented and deserves a photo of its own ????.
Home made coffee and fresh orange juice (pulp included) compliments it all. Enjoy ????

Had the crab sandwich with home fries yesterday and it was amazing! Very friendly waiter (I’m sorry I forgot his name) he made sure to make me and my dog feel
comfortable and at home in Kate’s outdoor seating area!
Sandwich was full of amazingly tasty crab salad!
I’ll be going back as I live just 2 blocks away!

My favorite breakfast spot in the city!

Too many places are more breakfast infusion styles but Kate's has the perfect mixture of adventurous and staple menu items.

From greens to French toast or steak and eggs, the food and great service won't disappoint.

I've visited Kate's Kitchen many times over the past 3+ years, and it remains one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco to this day. I recommend the "big guy's breakfast"!

First being in San Francisco and was looking for a breakfast place and this was one of the few open. Our server was very nice and talkative which was amazing! Food prices were better than I anticipated and the taste was even better! Definitely will be coming back on my next stay!

The food and the portion were good, and i loved my burger ! However the waitress wasn’t friendly. She kept on collecting our plates even though some of us were still eating. Then at the end she told us to leave because they were closing but the actual closing time was in one hour and they were still others clients in the restaurant.

One of my favorite breakfast venues. The corn meal pancakes with lemon curd and fruit are the best pancakes I've ever had. Great service and atmosphere.

Didnt have menu items available anymore
Food was mid at best and overpriced.

Got takeout fried chicken. They forgot the coleslaw. The mashed potatoes were instant mix. Chicken was incredibly dry. Biscuit was probably the best of the bunch, but that’s not really saying much. It was burnt and also dry.

Best breakfast in SF! The portions are large & flavorful so you'll be undoubtedly satisfied. There may be a short wait. Longtime restaurant, located in the Lower Haight.

Shakshuka was tasty but 18% minimum tip with the waitress hovering over you is uncomfortable.

Al llegar nos sentaron en 1 mesa, después de pedir y estar esperando a que nos sirvieran, nos cambiaron de mesa para sentar a otras personas en esa, el camarero que atendía parecía agradable ya que le habíamos hecho caso, cuando pagamos, antes de marchar nos disponíamos a ir al servicio, para llegar hay que cruzar por medio de la cocina, cuando mi pareja entro, el camarero de muy malas maneras me decía que yo esperara en la calle, le dije que tenía que ir al servicio antes de marchar y siguió insistiendo de muy malas manera que me iría ala calle (la cual está en la otra punta del bar) aunque el bar sea pequeño no tengo por qué esperar en la calle y menos si voy a usar el servicio, pero como ya habíamos pagado lo que parecía amabilidad cambio siendo grosero y mal educado. Esa persona no debería trabajar cara al público

The food was delicious. Some of the lightest, fluffiest, and delicious pumpkin pancakes. Everything we ate was so good. Can't wait to go back. The staff was super sweet and nice ????????????
