We were 1 of 4 couples to share 4 great days in wonderful Hopewell Lodge. Lynley was a superb host and , with her staff Marion and Maxine, made sure we enjoyed a really great time. Host David had to be away for most of our visit but made us delicious biscuits before he left. It was so easy being able to use the kayaks, row boat, hot tub etc and meal preparation in the well appointed kitchen was a breeze. Lynley made it easy for us to access golf, croquet and massages and there are wonderful walks to be made from Hopewell Lodge. The water taxi made access affordable and prompt. It was a privilege to have been at Hopewell Lodge.

Somptueux !!!
Si vous cherchez le calme du bout du monde, c'est l'endroit idéal. Les accomodations sont top. Mike et Lynley sont des hôtes très chaleureux et agréables.
Il n'y a pas de restauration, donc prévoir la nourriture en conséquence. La cuisine est très spacieuse et bien équipée.
Plutôt que prendre votre véhicule jusqu'à Hopewell Lodge prenez un water taxi depuis Havelock !!! C'est moins crevant et beaucoup plus agréable. Vous pouvez laisser sans soucis votre véhicule à la Marina d'Havelock.
A must be place !!!!

We(4 of us) stayed only one night last weekend and It was amazing!! Not just how well maintenance and clean but there is kayak, small boat, bike, paddle boat to rent. Spa with ocean view is another great point. You never gets bored. The kitchen equipments and basic seasoning was all there too. ( Probably better set up than my home haha)
We will definitely be back for sure. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful stay we had with the most incredible hosts that are extremely helpful. A piece of paradise here with the feeling of a little slice of Greece. The accomodation was just perfect along with all the extras, kayaks, row boats, bikes, oysters & clams on the beach and then the pizzas and mussels for dinner. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for your amazing care from the moment we rang.

What an absolutely lovely place. We really enjoyed the location, the hospitality of Lynley and Mike, the great pizzas and the hot tub which is open 24/7 and absolutely stunning for stargazing. There are also a few glow worms nearby. At the moment it is best to drive to Havelock and take the water taxi from there but Hopewell is happy to assist you with that. They also have a great starlink internet.

Hopewell Lodge is just a wonderful hidden gem in the Sounds. It's easy to access by water taxi or their own boat, and is an easy, beautiful scenic cruise to the lodge. All of the amenities are fabulous, and the room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Mike and Lynley- they are the amazing and we already can't wait to go back!
