Our room was one of the recently remodeled rooms. Beds were great. The bath shower combo was a struggle if you don't want to get your hair wet so make sure you have a shower cap. The security guard was so helpful getting us to our room the evening we arrived.

Absolutely atrocious. Although conveniently located, the room I was given was awful! The TV did not work, the bathroom was dirty, and there were roaches living in the room! I would never stay here again.

Let me start off DO NOT STAY HERE. They charged us for the room and parking twice we ended up paying over 1,000 for just a weekend and they will not refund us. we have called shown proof and everything and will not refund the money. The room smelled like cigarettes and the shower didn’t work well it had no pressure and was cold. The staff is terrible they are very rude and do not care about any inconveniences to guest. we now have no money for our rent thanks to this hotel.

we stayed her a couple of weeks ago. I must say the people who worked here was really nice and the location was GREAT!! However, I picked 2 stars for the rooms. I just don't think the rooms are getting cleaned like they should; well my room. The side of the bed on the floor smelled like pee and the sheets had some holes in them. The chair in our room was ruined, I'm not sure why they kept that chair in the room, it needed to be in the trash. Yes, the shower will leak water on the floor. You will need towels for the floor. Just a little more love and care and this hotel could be 4 STARS!!

My experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. It felt like a complete scam, and I strongly advise against staying there, even if it's for your worst enemy. During our stay, we encountered a cockroach in the room, and when we requested a room change, the manager at the reception refused, citing a lack of available rooms. Instead, they suggested we find accommodation elsewhere and assured us of a refund for the night. However, they failed to uphold their promise, leaving us to foot the bill for both the subpar room infested with cockroaches and the alternative accommodation we had to seek due to their broken commitments.

Unfortunately, bad experience - had item stolen from cart while unloading. Did not notice it gone until next day . When entering front lobby, strong smell of pot. Stayed here 6 years ago . Gone downhill . Seafood restaurant next door is very good. Be aware. Too bad because it is a very quaint alternative to a standard hotel. Homeless coming into lobby for free coffee . Just expected higher standards.

This was a terrible stay. We did not enjoy the amount of filth the room was covered in. We walked in and there were multiple dead cockroaches on the floor. The shower was brown covered with dirt. The base boards were filthy. The room looked clean at first but after examining it we then noticed the filth. When we went to move the pillows on the bed bugs were underneath the pillows. We examined the mattress and found bed bugs. This hotel was terrible the staff were rude as well. They were not transparent about anything and placed multiple charges to our card that we were not informed about. Our last morning there a member of the staff came and banged on our door screaming check out at 9:00am when check out is at 11:00am. Then when nobody came to the door proceeded to unlock the door and enter the room. Which is not okay. No member of hotel staff needs to enter a room that people are staying in and are asleep in at 9:00am. If it had an option to give it 0 starts I would.

Very pleased with the room, it was clean and had comfortable beds and there was a good New Orleans charm to the complex. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will stay again.

Wow, the hotel is impressive, is bigger than the pics, has about four different buildings, pool, hot tub, is safe, has ice machine, vending machines, coffee and tea, water, the ac is awesome, bathroom great, iron facilities, the room is big, the beds are so comfy, the mini fridge fantastic, microwave, awesome, always guard at the gates, they charge if you park in the property, they ask for a deposit, the location is amazing you have the street car stop infron the hotel, or you can walk in 10 minutes yo are un canal st, near by the union station, the only thing, is housekeeping is pretty early in the morning, and you need to ask several times for towels or more toilet paper, we got only once cups and shower stuff, even though we got an amazing price absolutely recommend it this hotel

On our first floor room we had found a cockroach inside. This was concerning. We asked to be moved from that room. On our new room the television remote was not working. They did not replace the towels when they came to clean the room. They also didn’t give us a proper blanket they haves us a thin sheet with holes in it. Finally the hotel phone was not working and when we informed them they had already knew about this and didn’t do anything about it.the showers do not have pressure and there are no curtains on shower and th bathroom becomes all wet after use

However the staff is very helpful and polite

Place is absolutely disgusting! Room was dirty. Furniture very old. Furniture and walls damaged. Roaches in the room. There are stray cats everywhere. Huge gap under the door. When complaining to front desk they offered nothing for their false advertisements other than they are sorry and they are going to be updating the furniture soon and we can have maintenance come spray chemicals in your room to breathe in during your stay so you do not see anymore roaches

Great rooms, wonderful location, but the worst receptionists I've ever had the displeasure of talking to. Not once did I talk to one and not get snarky responses to every question.

Still haven't gotten my room deposit back, after a week, Bank said that the charges haven't been released by the hotel, Hotel staff accused me of trying to get an extra hundred dollars and refused to look at further into the matter. I guess I'm just flying by luck on when if I see that deposit.

I felt like a burden to the staff during every since interaction, not an experience I would recommend.

We booked for a family reunion that happened to be during Mardi Gras. Chaotic at first but later became an annual trip for us! We’ve enjoyed our stay every year! Great staff! One year has turned into many. Location is perfect for our needs. Convenient and affordable. Already booked for Mardi Gras 2025

Do NOT believe the pictures displayed...
(1). Directions to get to room(s), not clear, By maison staff.. on marrch 13th, 2024.
(2). THERE ARE NUMEROUS CATS, that are roaming the property..with there dead kills (mice) laying.
(3). Open the door and floors look good..knock a towel to the floor. Pick it up and what do my wife and I see, HAIR LONG HUMAN HAIR, well as PET HAIR..On the floor. ON BED..WHITE SHEETS..YUCK!!!

Hi to all me and my family had the luxury of staying her for a couple nights staff are friendly, wonderful, helpful they starting from the front desk they go above and beyond to accommodate and make sure your stay is well worth it. Security is provided, a courtyard where one can enjoy get your hot or cold breakfast onsite, housekeeping is amazing , and enjoy the sunlight that is awesome, parking , pool side with hot tub and a big plus that it is an attractive spot on st. Charles near all sorts of restaurants and street car. I want to send a shot out to Nya, Devin and the manager , I forgot the houskeepwr name who assist the first morning I did remember her . Thank you to for helping my daughter whom made our stay well worth it. Thank you all for everything.

This is my go to spot to book when visiting my old hometown. Centrally located, on the streetcar line, nicely appointed rooms, great nearby eateries, including Mr Ed's next door, on the streetcar line, and beautiful patios to sit and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD and French Quarter

My stay was quick but this wouldn’t be an idea stay for me. Room was $130 I expected something different tbh. From the photos it seemed worth but going forward I’ll stay at a more known chain hotel. Gave motel 6 vibes.
