Se cercate un luogo a Taormina dove poter imbattervi in qualche volto noto mentre gustate del buon cibo, questo è il posto giusto. La cucina è indubbiamente di alto livello, con piatti autentici e freschi. Tuttavia, non posso ignorare il fatto che il servizio qui lascia un po' a desiderare. Il personale di sala è cordiale ma sembra non essere al massimo quando si tratta di consigliare sui vini disponibili, nè tanto meno possiede coscienza di quel che è presente in locale o meno. Se siete degli intenditori, potrebbe deludervi la mancanza di conoscenza in materia. Guardando al resto, mediamente buono.

Lieu très bien situé, sous une pergola et en face d’une petite église. Mais cuisine indigne de la renommée italienne. J’ai pris une assiette de poissons grillés, le poisson n’était pas écaillé, un autre pavé clairement périmé: une odeur intenable, j’ai recraché directement ce que j’avais en bouche. On m’a proposé une autre assiette puis le serveur est venu m’apporter une pièce de poisson histoire de me prouver que son poisson était frais, à l’odeur il n’y avait aucun doute possible et le chef n’aurait même pas dû le préparer. 15 mn pour obtenir une bouteille d’eau. La patronne prend le compte sans rendre la monnaie. Bref autant rester chez soi si c’est pour avaler du poisson avarié et un service très moyen.

Das Essen war zu teuer und die Qualität war sehr schlimm. Wir haben Pawn bestellt, die Beilagen waren gekochte Gemüse. Broccoli, Blumenkohl und Karotten waren es. Und sie waren nicht frisch und sehr weich. Plus unfreundliche Servierpersonal: der Kellner wollte nur, dass wir schnell bestellen und uns alle Gänge gleichzeitig auf den Tisch bringen. Das Essen könnten wir nicht fertig essen. Sehr schlechte Erfahrung gehabt.

Ristorante tipico nel centro di Taormina. Posto carino ed accogliente. Menù vario e tutto ottimo. carne, pesce , antipasti, primi , secondi, pizza e dolci squisiti. Staff cortese e simpatico. Locale consigliato. Typical Sicilian restaurant in the center of Taormina. Nice and welcoming place. Excellent and varied menu with fish or meat, appetizers, pasta, pizza, main courses and exquisite desserts. Friendly and nice staff. I suggest this restaurant

The restaurant la Botte is in the heart of Taormina centre, we ate pizza and dessert.
The pizzas were nice and the toppings were very generous at very good price. I had a pizza with cured ham, it was nice and a lot of ham.
For dessert I had a cassata (homemade) that was simply gorgeous.
The staff was polite and working very effective.

Leider haben wir hier gar nicht gut gegessen. Die frittierten Calmare zäh und schwammig, die gratinierte Seebrasse ohne Geschmack, lieblos angerichtet, das Kartoffelgratin nicht gut. Das Kotelett verbrannt.
Der Service unter aller Kritik, was den Kellner stört, sind die Gäste... er bringt eine Speise, die wir nicht bestellt haben, zum Hauptgang wollten wir Wein trinken, doch der Kellner sagte er komme gleich, kam aber nicht mehr. Die Preise ziemlich teuer für diese Leistung.
Schade, hätten uns den letzten Abend in Taormina anders vorgestellt
Von diesem Lokal ist definitiv abzuraten!

Table de 6 adultes et 4 enfants les enfants se sont régalés avec les spaghettis et nous avec les pizzas.
Nous y sommes même retournés le lendemain !
Terrasse ombragée et serveurs très sympa.
Les meilleurs pizzas mangé en sicile !!!

Die Bedienung ist supernett und das Ambiente 1A. Leider bin ich nach den Tortellini mit jüs vom Zackenbarsch so krank geworden, dass ich bis 3 Uhr morgens gebrochen habe. Wäre das nicht gewesen, dann hätte ich gerne 4 bis 5 Sterne vergeben.

Posto bello, ma personale con atteggiamento svogliato e antipatico.
Pizza d'asporto (consumata nel giro di pochi minuti) gommosa e difficile da digerire. Le verdure erano mezze crude.

Il ristorante la Botte di Taormina non si smentisce mai! Cibo di ottima fattura, ma soprattutto di qualità, personale sempre pronto, garbato, e capace di offrire un servizio di qualità, da 50 anni offre sempre un servizio eccellente.

Excellent medium thick crust pizza and a decent selection of beer located on a busy tourist street with a large outdoor seating area and abundant indoor seating. Endless photos on the walls of the staff and owners with Italian and American celebrities. Very attentive staff. A great spot to eat, drink, see the neighborhood and then keep walking.

To była najgorsza restauracja w jakiej byłem w życiu. Podkreślę W ŻYCIU, a byłem w wielu miejscach w Ameryce Środkowej, Północnej, Afryce, Europie, Azji i paru innych miejscach. Zamówiliśmy wstępnie napoje. Kelner od razu odburknął coś w stylu: "jak pijecie wy szybko wyjdźcie". Zdecydowaliśmy się zatem zamówić dodatkowo coś do jedzenia. To nie wiadomo czemu dodatkowo rozsierdziło obsługę. Rzucono nam na stolik jedno menu, choć była nas szóstka. Od tego momentu obsługa zaczęła nas jeszcze bardziej ignorować. Dopiliśmy zatem napoje nie doczekawszy na złożenie zamówienia. W pewnym momencie kelner postanowił przejść w kąt sali obok mojej żony prawie zrzucając ją z krzesła. Tego małżonka nie wytrzymała. Zapłaciliśmy, oczywiście płacąc dodatkowo za obsługę i wyszliśmy bez jedzenia. Totalne dno. Radzę omijać szerokim łukiem.

Okropne miejsce. Uwaga obsługa nie miła. Kelner był dla nas niemiły. Byliśmy z dziećmi, napoje dostaliśmy po 20 minutach. Kelner z jakiegoś powodu nie chciał przyjąć zamówienia na jedzenie. U nas się mówi straszne buce i naprawdę tacy są.

''Bien et pas cher'' selon Le petit futé, ce restaurant ne peut être raisonnablement classé dans cette catégorie : chaque coûte au minimum 12 ou 15 euros, les couverts étant facturés en sus 2,50 euros par personne. Heureusement que nous n'avons pas pris le repas traditionnel italien avec quatre plats, sinon bonjour le budget. Si quelqu'un est un peu futé, alors ce n'est pas l'adresse à conseiller dans la catégorie ''pas cher''...
