Centralissima, la Reception molto carina e l'attico molto suggestivo sui tetti di Catania. Le camere molto monacali, ma pulite. Personale alcuni molto cordiali e gentilissimi, altri nemmeno salutano, il bello della diversità di opinioni. Un buon compromesso, soprattutto per la posizione fa il suo pregio principale.

I spent 2 days in this lovely hostel. You can see the passion of the owners and employees in many loving details. Even if not everything is 100% or flawless, it makes up for it with its charm, friendliness of the staff, awesome antique ceiling paintings in the reception, lounge and dining room.
The location is bombastic! There are at least 6 of Catania's sights within a 1-minute walk. Among other things, right next door is the church and cathedral of Sant Agata, the elephant fountain just in front and the Uzeda city gate around the corner. Also the main shopping street Via Etna starts in front of the Hostel.
You can end the evening wonderfully on the roof top bar and have the best view over the University Square. With reduced prices for cocktails between 9-10pm. during happy hour, it's even more appealing. Offered free (delicious) pasta every evening at 8:30pm is a nice surplus.
The rooms are nice and functionally furnished. (In the rear building) Courageous double-decker beds and clever solutions for maintaining privacy are particularly impressive in the newly renovated and always clean bathroom (in each four-person room).
The WiFi was very strong in all parts of the building.

Super bem localizado no centro de tudo o hostel ainda oferece um pequeno café da manhã e pasta vegetariana de graça pros hóspedes! O rooftop também é lindo e os drinks também tem um valor especial (meu Etna Spritz saiu por 4 euros). Recomendo muitíssimo!
