Es ist einfach das beste Lokal in Ortigia!
Wir sind bis jetzt jeden Mittag für einen Wein und unterschiedliche Häppchen (Taglieri) hier vorbei gekommen und wollen auch nicht mehr woanders hin!
Vom authentisch sizilianischem Käse bis zur Bresaola hat uns alles fantastisch geschmeckt. Der Service ist nett und zuvorkommend.
Es wird mittags schnell voll, aber zu deutschen Mittagszeiten bekommt man noch gut einen Platz ????

The shop is amazing! You can buy wine, mortadella, jam, cheese, olives, artichokes, chocolate, oil,… there! Also the food (2paninis) were really really good! I just can recommend the shop!

We went to this store on our last day in Syracuse to pick up some cold cuts and cheese to take back with us. I had tasted paglia-e-fieno cheese on wine tasing day and loved the favor of this cheese. It is supposed to be a semi firm cheese. I asked for it and was sold a roll in the pick. When we got back home we opened it to eat the cheese and we found that it was hard as rock and probably had been in their fridge for too long and unloaded on us. At its current form is harder than parmesan as you can see in the picture is shreds when you try to cut it, and the taste is quite off. No need to say. We are very disappointed buying this expensive cheese and carrying it across the Atlantic back home to find out that we were gypped by this establishment. I thought shoppers should be cautious.

Kurz bevor wir Syrakus verlassen wollten, auf dem Weg zum Parkplatz, sind wir tatsächlich noch über Fratelli Burgio "gestolpert" - schön gelegen, an der Ecke zu einem belebten Platz, nicht weit vom Wasser. Was für ein Gewusel! Als wir dort waren, standen die Menschen schier Schlange, um einen Platz drinnen zu ergattern! Eigentlich unverständlich, draussen war es zu der Zeit noch schön sonnig und angenehm warm - und: es gab einen Pavillon, in dem man ebenfalls Platz nehmen konnte...wir blieben draußen. Wir waren etwas unschlüssig aber einer der Servicekräfte meinte, wir sollen unbdeingt ein bestimmtes Panino essen, an dessen Namen ich mich leider nicht erinnere...wir würden nie wieder etwas anderes essen wollen! Gesagt, getan - und es war wirklich super, er hat nicht übertrieben! Das Brot superfrisch, kross, lecker...die sonnengetrockneten Tomaten in Öl, der Prosciutto, die Auberginen-Creme, der Salat, mega! Wirklich Klasse, danke. Da waren Aperol Spritz und Espresso Nebensache....???????????? Achso: und alle waren sehr freundlich, trotz viel Stress und Hektik.

Been in Sicily for a few days, hands down the best food we tried! Tastes exceptional!

Ristoratori furbetti o semplice disattenzione?? In ogni caso non dovrebbe accadere che pago soldi in più, non sono tornata indietro perché me ne sono accorta a casa… Il vino in carta è segnato €28,00 ma l’ho pagato €32,00, lo trovo sleale e poco carino nei confronti del cliente
Aggiornare i prezzi non sarebbe una cattiva idea. Rapporto qualità prezzo non proprio idoneo

Genialne miejsce na szybki przystanek na kanapkę i wino. Miejsce zatłoczone lecz obsługa wszystko kontroluje w lokalu i dba o klientów. Bardzo duży asortyment szynek i serów. Pyszne bagietki!

Sono stato in vacanza a Ortigia per alcuni giorni, e ho mangiato 2 volte questi splendidi panini, che sono così buoni che causano dipendenza, spero di tornare presto, qualità incredibile, sia del pane che degli ingredienti, posto unico che già dagli odori e dall'atmosfera ti rilassa, personale gentile e competente.
