Excellent food, attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere make this café - that dates back to the late '20s - a precious gem in the heart of the city.
Breakfast, lunch, ice-cream, aperitivo: you name it. You'll find a unique selection of traditional sicilian sweet and savory treats made with passion since 1928.
I am always amazed by their crunchy "cannolo", the aphrodisiac "torta savoia" and their wide choice of "arancini" - my favourite.
As a Sicilian living abroad, it is my very first mandatory stop every time I come back home for the holidays.
Caffé Italia will enchant you, I highly recommend going if you're in Ragusa!
