We chose the restaurant out of the blue a few weeks ago - atmosphere of the restaurant looked good from the outside, and it was an amazing choice!
Friendly staff, helped us choose among their selection of wines. From starters to desserts, everything tasted really good.
Enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully will be back soon :)

a must visit if you are in agrigento, great balance between value, artistry and flavour.

all items ordered were of great quality, great portions, and great flavour. we were extremely surprised we were not disappointed by any of the things we ordered. the most memorable items were by far the aubergine pie, the sicilian rolls and the fillet of beet with pistachio cream. if you order them, you will not be disappointed.

the couscous of pistachios is worth trying, very unique flavours and probably a one-of-a-kind dessert.

È una garanzia venire a mangiare all’Ex Panificio.
I piatti molto buoni e con una attenta ricerca dei particolari e delle materie prime, cantina di ottima qualità, ambiente molto accogliente e servizio sempre attento e cordiale.

Una perla dentro Agrigento. Ambiente elegante con una cura incredibile del design, tutto di ottima qualità. Io e il mio compagno siamo andati a bere un drink e ne siamo rimasti incantati dallo splendido spettacolo offerto dal barman , che si poteva vedere riflesso nel soffitto di specchi, preparando con arte e maestria i nostri cocktail. Una selezione vastissima di distillati di ottime qualità. Servizio eccellente, abbiamo ascoltato il ragazzo che ci ha ricevuti , raccontare al tavolo accanto al nostro la storia del rum , partendo dalla canna da zucchero e spiegando tutto il procedimento , si notava l’entusiasmo e la professionalità. Consiglio vivamente di andare!!

L'inizio n loon è stato dei migliori la cucina stava per chiudere nonostante ci fossero persone ancora sedute, però gentilmente mi hanno proposto un antipasto pasto e un secondo
Ho optato per un bel tagliere di salumi dei Nebrodi, i prodotti erano di alta qualità e la quantità per due persone davvero abbondante, ma la cosa veramente buona era il pane
Come secondo degli involtini squisiti con contorno di patate.
Location davvero bella e ambiente davvero pulito, e rapporto qualità prezzo Ottimo non posso che non dare un bel 8 e mezzo.

I liked my food at lot (pork rolls and artichoke caponata with salad and potatoes), but others at the table were not so happy unfortunately (risotto was blunt, wild boar ragout was basically sugo sauce…). The wine was wrongly corked (it wasn’t reflected in the taste but in a BIB restaurant I’d still expect something else - to bring a new bottle!). If you want to see magic happen though, order martini (! I thought this would not be perceived with such a shock in Italy of all places).
Mine (ordered as aperitif) took almost an hour to make, came after I had finished my starter and about 20 minutes after everyone else at the table had received theirs (and also had finished their starters).

Overall it was a nice experience because I was lucky with my choice of food, but probably would not recommend further. The prices are very reasonable. It still might be the place with the best Ambiente in whole Agrigento.

Un po’ troppo caro per la qualità del cibo. Tagliata buttata nel piatto in ordine casuale, leggermente tiepida tendente al freddo con sale grosso. Avrei preferito cristalli di sale piuttosto.

My favorite restaurant in Agrigento! Had dinner twice and was delighted always with quality of food and service. Wonderful people and terrific menu. Was part of the Paladino D'Oro Sports Film Festival and everyone from the festival couldn't stop raving about the restaurant. A must visit!
