Am Wochenende nachts sehr, sehr laut. Montag Morgen dann früh der Lastwagen, der die Fäkalien abpumpt. Der Gestank war unerträglich. Die Zimmer sehr düster und abgewohnt. Im Bad massiver Schimmelbefall an den Wänden und defekte Armaturen. Die Aussicht, wenn man das so nennen kann, besteht aus einer Sicht auf einen vermüllten Hof. Das Personal teilweise sehr forsch und wenig kundenorientiert, gar frech. Wir konnten, trotz vorheriger telefonischer Anfrage das Zimmer nicht um 12:00 Uhr beziehen und mussten doch über eine halbe Stunde warten. Es gab auch keine Entschuldigung oder vielleicht einen Kaffee, um die Wartezeit etwas angenehmer zu gestalten. Also warteten wir in der staubigen Lobby auf einem abgesessenen Sofa. Am Ende wollte man uns dann tatsächlich ein Zimmer der untersten Kategorie geben, obwohl wir was anderes gebucht hatten. Wieder keine Entschuldigung! Frühstück recht mager. Dieses Hotel verdient maximal einen Stern und ist vollkommen überteuert!

Personale gentile e competente. Posizione ottima (centralissima ma tranquilla e non influenzata né disturbata dal traffico palermitano). La stanza è bella ma, a mio avviso, ha una unica pecca: la moquette!

Il mio primo "incontro" con Palermo è stato mitico, all'insegna del bel canto e del buon cibo e l' Hotel FEDERICO II, in una posizione perfetta rispetto al mio interesse (Teatro Massimo) e sito al centro della città, ha reso il mio brevissimo soggiorno veramente indimenticabile! Il signor Antonello, al quale è affidata la gestione del Federico II, è un Direttore super efficiente e al tempo stesso molto cordiale: la sua sensibilità e disponibilità verso il cliente rende l'atmosfera di questo albergo, curato nei minimi particolari della struttura e dell'arredamento, moderno ed elegante, molto accogliente e cordiale anche per la gentilezza di tutto lo Staff. La camera molto spaziosa, perfettamente climatizzata, il letto comodo e confortevole, il bagno pulito e ben accessoriato,il frigo bar ben fornito, mi hanno permesso di riposare benissimo e poi....il messaggio di benvenuto che mi ha accolto in camera è stato una delizia per gli occhi e per il gusto: grazie Direttore ...grazie !!!

Perfect location. Close to Politeama theatre where airport bus run. There are lot of cafe or restaurants nearby but hotel also has a nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast was good, many Sicilian products and fresh coffee.
Room was large. Just I don't like rainforest shower.... I'm too short.

Ottimo tutto ! Riguardo il ristorante mi permetterei una mia osservazione a scopo collaborazione: cibi tutti impastellati e fritti..non c'è un piatto di carne (pulita) esempio tagliata o pollo e pesce al forno o griglia oppure un buon piatto di insalata!!fresca un po' di olive sott'olio! non ci sono piatti genuini puri freschi di stagione o locale produzione. Consiglio questo!

Hotel centrale con la possibilità di visitare passeggiando tranquillamente, in pochi minuti a piedi si arriva nelle caratteristiche vie del centro città. di Struttura di ottimo livello, ben mantenuta e personale gentile e professionale allo stesso tempo. Camere pulite.

Hotel da consigliare, posto al centro città, ci si può muovere facilmente a piedi. Personale molto gentile e accogliente. Colazione buona. L'unica pecca sono le camere con la moquette.

Ottimo servizio camerieri e pessimo servizio parcheggio. 20 euro a notte per riavere l'auto piena di escrementi di uccelli mi sembra esagerato. Escrementi che non siamo riusciti a togliere neanche con il lavaggio.

We were disappointed by the Federico II, which is in no way a 4* hotel. We booked a room with a balcony in the description, but got put in a standard room with no balcony. There is no coffee, fridge, kettle, or clothes iron in the room. The bathroom had plumbing problems and black mould. The whole room was weirdly dark with bad lighting. The air conditioning turns off when you walk out, so you always come back to a hot and uncomfortable room. The elevator made frightening noises and sounded unsafe, so we used the stairs. None of the staff smiled or showed any interest in our experience, they seemed irritated to be there. As others have commented, the breakfast staff were weird and stood around watching us eating and we felt like we were being monitored. You have to pay €30 if you want to get in the pool. You have to pay €20 PER DAY to park your car at the hotel, even as as a staying guest, and they had the audacity to charge us this fee and then give our car back covered in bird poop, in shocking condition. The location was very good, but otherwise we thought this hotel was a disappointment. We would never stay here again.
