Die Bush Lodge befindet sich direkt vor dem Gate zum QENP. Die Lage ist super und liegt direkt am Fluss. In der Nacht kommt das “Haus und Hof” Hippo zum Grasen auf das Gelände, daher wird man bei Dunkelheit zu seinem Zelt gebracht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals. ❤️ Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Zelte sehr schön als auch sauber. Die Sicherheitslage im Park ist unbedenklich und genauso sicher wie im Rest des Landes! TIPP: Für Ruhesuchende versuchen ein Zelt am Ende des Weges zu bekommen und weiter weg vom Rezeption und Restaurant.

Eine der schönsten Lodges die wir in Afrika bislang erleben konnten. Traumhafte Lage am Kazinga Channel mit grosser Hippo-Population. Sehr bequeme Zelte, abends 4 Gänge Menü bei trockenem Wetter im Freien rund um das Lagerfeuer serviert. Sehr freundliches Personal. Nachts kommt oft Hippo Thomas auf Besuch in die Lodge.

Bellissimo Lodge nel parco queen Elisabeth. Un elefante è passato davanti al lodge proprio durante la notte, e un ippo la seconda notte. Strepitoso. Pranzo e cena molto buona

The chilling environment at the lodge is great.
The staff are truly excellent - the most helpful we came across during our whole trip.
The food is fairly average for vegetarians but still fine. It was a shame that they didn't have some of the drinks they advertised. There was only one bottle of red/white wine to have - no choice.
The rooms are fine, but they aren't bug-proof. One night we left the light on after it rained and came back to a room overwhelmed with flies!! Not ideal. As someone who mosquitoes are very attracted to I'd potentially question the outdoor shower here too - it's a great idea but I would have to run back inside after showering before they ate me alive!
