When on a budget, the best option to stay in Kasese.
The rooms are nice, the location is great, and the staff is extremely hospitable, friendly and helpful!
The only downside is the showers - there are almost no hot water and the stream is very weak, more like a drizzling.
We stayed here before and after a Rwenzori trek and they have also stored luggage for us.

They let us check in in 3 am.
There is some parties around here, so we heard noises from outside.
