Loved the place for its eco nature ...quite enough to have a peace of mind ...

the management and Staff expected us and so a warm welcoming foe is was really incredible...

Located at the shores of lake bunyonyi - the deepest lake in Uganda about 6500ft deep. The lodging has clean facilities, with options for rooms, rents and cottages. Their restaurants serves delicious food and drinks ???? available depending on preference. The lodging has hot water for showering. Don't forget to pack warm outfits especially for morning and evening hours as it's extremely cold ????. Friendly services available and ready to help even with lifting your luggage ????. The resort has good spots for taking pictures, and a Van ready for anyone that wants to tour the surrounding areas. It has a number of games/activities like Chess, volleyball ????, boat cruise, and hiking ???? over the hills of Kabale. Definitely a must visit ????. Ooh did I mention there is Edrisa Craft shop to buy souvenirs of Uganda own made products. However, be mindful of the roads on the hills, drive carefully and thoughtfully ????????

Tolle Lage am See, die Location insbesondere die Zimmer schon in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr grosse und etwas unpersönliche Anlage. Abendessen im Restaurant sehr gut.

Basic lodging. Rooms are tidy but not very nice. There is a mattress with one sheet (not even a fitted sheet or mattress pad) so when you sleep and any movement you make while sleeping, the sheet moves and you realize you are sleeping on an old mattress pad. The comforter must be eons old and also seems dirty. Hot water, intermittent and toilets barely flush. Yes, it’s East Africa, but this is not a 4.1 hotel in western standards.
However, the hotel prepared a lovely dinner, and is very friendly.

Nice place. We got a good deal on our stay. The normal price is too expensive for us. The young man at reception was very helpful during our stay. The bar staff were a bit uninterested. We were camping and the areas for camping were excellent and the showers and toilets were good. The showers were very hot (be careful). The bar ran out of Nile beer but only 24 hours. Thank goodness. The place is very steep. It's not for the infirm. We stayed 4 nights but as I say we got a great deal. We'd not even stay at full camping prices. It's crazy. If you are in a big truck do not drive to reception go straight to the second gate. It's a great campsite but be warned the overland buses stop here so there's sometimes a lot of "overlanders". There was a lot of noise from an adjacent place on our last night but this is Africa. The noise ended at 9am so not too late. ????????
We would absolutely stay again if we could get a great price again. It's a fine campsite. Be prepared for steep ! Flat places are there to be sure. WiFi is good as is mobile MTN. It's well run, well equipped and I have no complaints at all, only comments. Worth a stay for sure. The tents/rooms looked great with great views. You might even meet George Michael....ask at reception if he's there. ????

I stayed at this hotel with friends in May, 2015. It is like fairy tales hotel from another world, in a rather rural Uganda and Congo (DRC) border. The rooms are made of wooden materials and local granite stones. The design and details have great taste. Food is incredible. The hotel is on a hill. Right in front of the hotel is a large and one of the deepest reservoir (lake) in Uganda. I still remember the enjoyment I had at that place.

El sitio espectacular en el mismo lago, donde te puedes dar un baño, un masaje .
El wifi solo en zona de recepción y restaurantes.
Los baños limpios y bien ubicados .
Se puede hacer excursiones para visitar el lago.
