Incredible tour of the country with my guide Tinka. He was an extraordinary partner. He always listened to me and was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Uganda with him. I plan to visit the North again in 2026

We had a great guided tour in Uganda with Hugu Hugu adventures, everything was perfect. Their patience during the trip , the van was very spacious with even a fridge to cool our drinks. Also the guided explanations during the trip to mburo national parc, lake Bunyoni and Bwindi were really helpful during our trip. I highly recommend traveling with them you will not regret it. We recently had the privilege of exploring Uganda with Tinka from HUGU HUGU ADVENTURES . From the moment we met, it was clear that he truly loves tourism & is deeply committed to providing an exceptional, seamless, & unforgettable experience.
Tinka radiated enthusiasm & his love for the country was infectious. He took the time to connect with us, ensuring that we not only saw the sights but also understood the significance behind them. It enriched our understanding of this beautiful country. Every accommodation was comfortable & well-located, and all transportation was punctual, & reliable. His attentiveness & dedication was well appreciated as he took time to make stops & share insights of local wildlife, stunning viewpoints, or unique cultural sight.
Each day was filled with amazing experiences, from tracking gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to exploring the vibrant markets in Kampala. He tailored our itinerary to match our interests, making every moment special, comfortable & safe throughout the journey.
One of the highlights was the stop at the equator line. Tinka helped us take fun photos as we stood in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres!
We also stopped at one of the local markets along the way. Tinka encouraged us to try the local honey, which was delicious. We couldn’t resist also picking up some of the creamiest avocados to take home! It was a wonderful opportunity to immerse in the local culture & taste the flavours of Uganda.
We were lucky to be in Uganda during the national day. Tinka took us on a walking tour of the city, where he shared fascinating insights about the significance of the day. The highlight was navigating through the bustling Kampala market, where we enjoyed the local atmosphere & bought some delightful local hibiscus tea.
Before leaving Kampala, Tinka even made efforts to accommodate a few additional stops, including the stunning Baha'i Temple and the beautiful shores of Lake Victoria. There, we enjoyed a delicious meal of tilapia at a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake.
If you’re looking for a tour guide who is not just knowledgeable but genuinely passionate about showcasing the beauty of Uganda, look no further than Tinka. He made our trip unforgettable & we can’t wait to come back again to experience some more of Uganda. Tinka is beyond being a fantastic guide.
