PARADOR DE GRANADA ^{* * * *}

My girlfriend and I decided to go to the restaurant so we wouldn’t have to leave Alhambra to eat lunch. I ordered a sandwich and croquettes to share while my girlfriend ordered a salad. My sandwich arrived in under 10 minutes and the croquettes arrived with it, however my girlfriends salad never arrived. We waited 40 minutes (and managed to flag down the waiters twice) before finding out the salad was never put into the system. After being promised we would get it soon, we waited another 20 minutes before she cancelled the order and asked for the dessert menu. We tried to get the waiter’s attention multiple times with multiple waiters but they kept ignoring us.
Neither of us could help but feel this was because we were a young couple, as multiple other reviews from similar couples here mentioned the exact same problem with staff. Groups with older people especially got overall faster service than us, with at least 3 groups we could spot sitting down later than us and getting all of their food at once in the span between us sitting down and us giving up on the salad. One older couple I noticed sat down, ordered, got both their meals, finished eating, and paid and left in that time period as well, with the waiters checking on them multiple times while we had to try and flag them down to get their attention.
The waitress who eventually helped us was very apologetic and comped our dessert and coffee, however, no suitable explanation was ever offered and the dessert took another 20 minutes to come out. Eventually they told us it was because the computer broke, but somehow it only affected our table?
Overall, the food was decent when we got it and the view was great, but the service was incredibly upsetting. We’re grateful the dessert was comped but we wish we hadn’t wasted so much time there that could’ve been spent at Alhambra.

Comimos después de visitar La Alhambra con reserva previa. Fue una excelente opción... Muy buen servicio y muy buena relación calidad precio. Muy recomendable para después de la visita.

El trato excelente, la ubicación lo siguiente, no se por que será, he repetido y repetiré.

Comimos en el restaurante y probamos el menú degustación Nazarí. Muy variado e interesante propuesta para ambientarse aún más con la Alhambra. El servicio un poco flojo detrás de los camareros.
