יש לציין שזה רחוק מהכל, כמו להיות באי בודד באמצע שום מקום. אין איפה לצאת ולהסתובב אלא אם כן אתם עם רכב.

Muy buen hotel boutique.

Escogimos este porque es pequeñito y tranquilo. No queríamos un macrohotel con piscina llena de gente, y tener que esperar en el desayuno para tostar el pan… al haber pocos huéspedes, sientes que el personal está más por ti.

El hotel es muy tranquilo, y estuvimos prácticamente solos en la playa y en la piscina. Pudimos disfrutar de mucha intimidad. Y todo estaba bastante limpio y mantenido.

Las habitaciones son pequeñitas, pero cómodas. La ducha y baño son amplios. En el restaurante, aunque un poco caro para ser Mauricio, se come realmente bien. Tienen un poco de todo (pasta, pescado, carne, arroces…) y habían platos que estaban realmente buenos que llegamos a repetir varios días. El personal es muy agradable y atento, y fueron muy complacientes siendo bastante flexibles con nuestros horarios. El desayuno era bastante amplio: fruto, zumos, bollería, tortillas a medida, tostadas… no es bufet libre. Pides y te lo traen ellos.

Como hotel le pongo 5 estrelllas porque lo vale. Pero tiene 2 peros:

- la playa es bastante pequeña, rocosa, poco profunda hasta el arrecife (200m), siempre había un poco de pla, y tiene coral y erizos. Con lo que no podías hacer mucha actividad en ella. Aunque te dejan gafas de bucear y padel surf en el hotel, como mucho está para refrescarse. Con las gafas de bucear poco podías ver, y con el padel surf, mejor no caerte y tocar el fondo con los pies. Vamos, para bañarse un poco y nada más.

- la ubicación está bastante alejada de todo. Así que si no quieres depender de taxis, sus horarios y el coste que representa, mejor alquila un coche. Nosotros lo tuvimos en cuenta y no nos importo. Pero si es cierto que nos pasamos horas conduciendo, cada vez que queríamos ir a algún lado de la isla.

Truly a wonderful experience. The staff are simply the kindest people. Each person was so attentive, humble and proactive. We hadn’t implicitly told anyone that my husband and I were on our honeymoon, but the team got a whiff of why we were there and they left no stone unturned in creating the most unforgettable experience. We are grateful to the entire team for the 7* service.

I also want to specify that my husband and I were back from a day trip looking queasy after eating spoiled Tuna at a restaurant in Le Morne (Enso Bar and Restaurant - don’t ever go there), and as soon as the staff notified the reception of the allergic reaction we were having, someone (Vimi) rushed over to our room to let us know that a car was kept on standby to rush us to a hospital or a pharmacy if we needed either. Sure enough we did and were just happy to have the attentiveness of the staff to help us get through that horrific experience.

In summary, we cannot recommend La Maison d‘Eté enough. Everything was top notch. The food was brilliant, the decor splendid and as I’ve said over and over, the staff were the best part. People make or break an experience and this has by far been the best. We will be visiting again.

What an incredible hotel! This exclusive boutique hotel is first class service. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff and service are so personal and professional. We only had 1 night but would have happily stayed here longer. Perfect for couples and those wanting a perfect relaxing trip.
