Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit dieser Kiteschule! Die Bedingungen zum Lernen sind perfekt, vor allem das riesige Stehrevier, das viel Sicherheit bietet. Besonders hilfreich ist, dass sie ein Boot haben und dir jederzeit zur Hilfe kommen können, wenn mal etwas schiefgeht. Das gibt einem ein durchgehend sicheres Gefühl auf dem Wasser.

Die Kite-Lehrer sind top – sehr kompetent und geduldig. Ich würde diese Schule jedem empfehlen, der Kitesurfen lernen oder sich verbessern will. Dazu kommt, dass die Preise im Vergleich zu anderen Schulen sehr günstig sind.

We had a great time with Martin and his team at the East Kite School. Everyone was very kind to us. Once I needed rescue and I got picked up after a few minutes. We recommend this place for all levels of Kiters!

Keep off. Not a serious honest business. I was told, despite 10 years of kite experience, that I had to take a course to rent material, because my IKO license does not fully cover level 3. I would receive subsequently a IKO Independence license certificate. It was OK for me. However, in the end, I was told that they just happened to have no more IKO forms available and would deliver it by e-mail. This never happened and they ignore my inquiries. My research shows that the school is unknown at IKO. This is rip-off and money-making from my point of view.
Spot is OKish and people have been friendly though.

Un accueil incroyable , une équipe formidable , un service VIP dans l eau , nous y sommes en famille Mfemme et ma fille de 16 ans tirent leur premier bord assez rapidement , grâce au conseil de Martin et de son équipe .. le spot est idéal pour les débutant jusqu’à expert le vent de 15 à 20 kn est régulier… le lieu est juste incroyable , bravo et Éric à tous !!!

Had 3 lessons this week with East Kite School. Both instructors were great and stayed in the water with me for all 3 sessions. I’m a complete beginner but all the kit looked and felt good.
Would definitely visit again!

Fuyez. Passez votre chemin. Une équipe de 5 jeunes payés à ne rien faire. Ils trouvent des excuses pour ne pas donner de cours ( panne de moteur, pas de bateau, pas de vent, moniteur resté au lit !!! ) .bref lamentable . Nous nous sommes déplacés deux fois pour rien . Nous aurions dû consulter les avis Google avant … visiblement sur place, tout le monde s’en moque. Dommage, belle plage, bel hôtel….

Très mauvaise expérience pour ma part, instructeur en retard de 2-3h à chaque fois par rapport au rendez-vous fixer. Ajout sur la facturation de 4h … obligé de le signaler à l’accueil de l’hôtel pour enfin avoir gain de cause … bref passez votre chemin et allez plutôt voir les écoles vers le morne, la météo y est en plus bien plus clémente.

Vraiment déçu. Je déconseille, l’encadrement est quasi inexistant,le matériel hors d’âge. Sans parler de la sécurité non respectée, comme partir sans son leash… Tout ça pour un prix élevé.

Super équipe pour mes premiers bords en kite ! Spot paradisiaque, moniteurs tous hyper disponibles, arrangeants et patients, permettant un apprentissage rapide et efficace.
Rapport qualité prix excellent.
Hyper arrangeants pour le prêt de matériel pour mon conjoint qui lui était autonome.
Par ailleurs pour les moins débutants, l'école a un bateau sécu.

I rented kite for a few hours and paid after. Very helpful people, fair prices. The spot is not ideal for starting, because it is in a hotel beach among people lying on sunbeds, but they take you in with motor boat to start from there.

East Kite School - Martin and his team made it an amazing experience. They are true professional, friendly and has all the equipment needed to practice one of the most amazing sport in a safe and unique environment. Highly recommended. One of the best spot to kite on the island

Sehr tolle Kiteschule mit freundlichen Trainern, top Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und super Service.

Ich habe nach der Kiteschule noch eine andere besucht, von der ich mehr als enttäuscht war. Diese hier kann ich nur empfehlen.

This was my 3d time kiting at this lovely spot while staying in the Salt hotel. I’m a beginner practicing upwind and able to kite individually, as I already did outside of Mauritius and in 6 other Mauritian spots. As I already told the school multiple times “Thanks but I don’t need lessons, I just need a lot of practice”. Unfortunately during my 3d visit the owner “advised” me to kite further down and told me he would not take responsibility if something goes wrong - a bit weird for a kite-beach to be exclusive, but all fine untill now.

Then he started that when I’d get into danger he’d not help me (with a boat). I told him in other spots, when you get into danger everyone’s always open to help you out (open/inclusive kite-culture) and I’d normally pay for the boat if I’d have needed their help - the owner said this is not the case here and payment would be upfront (“supervision”).

I’m always open for tips and tricks from other employees on how to be a better/safer kiter. But asking someone to kite somewhere else or pay upfront after having declined lessons and refreshers is just a pity for the sport.

Martin (owner), I would advice you to put a sign that a specific part of the beach is only open for paying clients so that there’s no confusion for newcomers. This would’ve saved me an awkward conversation that I’d need to leave.
To other employees of the school, thank you so much for being accommodating, helpful and inclusive during the 1st two visits to this beach! ❤️
