Wonderful beach, hotel and exceptional service

I was planning to book this hotel and contacted them twice with queries I had before making the reservation. They never bothered to even acknowledge or reply to my messages. I’ve now booked with another hotel instead. If Lux Belle Mare put so little effort into providing good customer service before you’ve booked with them, then I don’t want to see the poor level of service they’d offer during a stay.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at this beautiful hotel. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, the rooms beautifully designed, and the beach and ocean were simply stunning.
We can't wait to go back!

Good place to spend some quality time and have great experiences no doubts , BUT one thing I observed was how many times my partner and I got very uncomfortable when we are in a space with many ‘whites people’. Apparently We were the only black guest during our stay and it wasn’t a good experience for us all. First, We couldn’t use the pool due to how we were being looked at, we got to the ice cream place and the people there had to move far away from us. And then at the spar, the lady suggested that i sit in different room apart from the reception where other people were being received and seated with no genuine excuses, but I guess they wanted to attend to their most important guests first, so I sat there for about 2 hrs before I was brought in back when everyone had left only to be told again that I’ll not be having a massage and the pedicure because I didn’t inform them earlier so I had only my fingernails done . The whole experience was too uncomfortable that we got really worried and had to leave. Sadly that was my first time in Mauritius and might be my last. Lux Belle mare gave me a totally bad impression about the country. Belle mare is a nice place with beautiful rooms and clean environment but I wouldn’t recommend it for a black person like me.
