Un hôtel magnifique, très bien situé en bord de plage. Un personnel à nos petits soins, d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Mention particulière à Noorah qui s’est occupée de notre chambre pendant 9 jours, toujours impeccable, à Pradeep, Vijesh, Raj, Linley, Elie, Thimal, Hiteen, Rajesh, Rajeey, Rajiv, sans oublier le chef Maurice et Marie Michelle. Toutes ces personnes ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Un GRAND MERCI à eux.

Great Hotel. Had 1 week here in October 23, the staff at the hotel are excellent very attentive and polite. This hotel really brings together the best parts of the island. We loved the snorkeling, landscaping, rooms and restaurants. All laid out to provide privacy and a sense of the tropical getaway. As always the staff are the best thing about a good stay and here is no exception, very professional, polite and helpful. Nothing but respect for these people and gratitude.
We stayed in a double luxury room that features an outdoor shower area and quiet garden area looking over the lawn to the sea. The room was kept clean and room service calling regularly to check on provisions such as drinking water.
A quirky accent are the buggy rides from the entrance down into the resort. We hired a car and a golf cart would ferry us to and from the car park.
Snorkeling from the beach is great, whilst not as epic as the Blue Bay it is fully accessible and very diverse with coral and fish to see.
The wind (when we stayed) often blew in off the sea providing a cool breeze in 28deg heat making it very comfortable.
As B&B guests we used the restaurant and the only negative I have is the price of the onsite food and drink. Expect UK/EU pricing. Beer around £10 a pint, £10 a sandwich, £42pp for the evening buffet. All fairly reasonable in terms of quality but felt a little over priced in comparison to local prices. Food offering is more than sufficient with a good continental and cooked breakfast. I'm fairly certain if a guest had any special requests the hotel would seek to accommodate based on our experience.
Evening music was live and of good taste/quality every night we were there. There was always plenty of space to relax in the bar area and enjoy the scene at the end of the day.
We travelled around a bit of the island, from experience and our preference this is an excellent hotel and value for money. We found many locations within Mauritius lacking in restaurants and evening activities, as such choosing a hotel/resort like this is a great base to head out and explore from or stay and soak up the experience on offer.

We stayed at SO Mauritius for a week and found it relaxing and friendly, the room was well finished with an indoor and outdoor bath /shower, for the food they went out of their way to provide vegeterian indian meals for my twin infants and the 2 of us. Of course the beach was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly , in particular thanks go to chef Rajeev, chef Vinay, Chef Vikram, Neelam, Priya, Raj, Kavish and Divya. I would highly recommend SO Mauritius .
One suggestion, the electronics like TV and music systems in the room are outdated and require latest upgrade.

Das Personal verdient besonderes Lob. Sie sind äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, was unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht hat. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team!
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch meinen Taxi-Fahrer, Anil. Er hat meinen Aufenthalt auf der Insel zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Anil hat mich zwei Tage lang begleitet und nicht nur die Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt, sondern auch viel über die Kultur und Geschichte der Insel erzählt. Seine Leidenschaft und sein Wissen haben meinen Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert. Ein großes Dankeschön an Anil!
Ich kann das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um die Schönheit der Insel zu genießen und die Gastfreundschaft des Personals zu erleben.
