Wonderful team which procures a safe and instructive training environment, all of which in a remarkable scenery. I had an outstanding time and highly recommend this kite school.

This is my second time kiting here; come and Kitesurf in Paradise, the largest and deepest lagoon in Mauritius! The lagoon allows for all types of foiling and standard kitesurfing.
This time the team had the great reponsability of teaching my girls (11 and 12 years old). Instructors have an individual boat, so you have a dedicated person for your course. Lessons from a boat are the most efficient and safe since you are in the water away from any obstacles. When you have gone down-wind; the boat takes you back up-wind so you can start kitesurfing again in a matter of minutes no wasting time and precious energy walking back up-wind! Thank you to the team for taking so much care of my children and giving them an experience they will never forget. The entire family wants to come back next year to work on their transitions! Henri be ready!

Best location in Mauritius as you have the whole bay for yourself! Fair rental conditions (60 EUR / 2 hours for hotel guests) and premium service with Duotone kitegear - depending on the wind conditions they even drive you to the middle of the lagoon. Also very friendly and knowledgeable, had a great session!

Meine Erfahrung mit der SK Kiteschule

Im August 2024 habe ich bei der SK Kiteschule eine zweistündige Discovery Lesson gebucht, und ich muss sagen: Das war echt eine super Entscheidung.

Preis-Leistung und Sicherheit

Für 130 € bekommt man hier echt viel geboten: Zwei Stunden Unterricht, inklusive allem Equipment wie Wing und sogar Schuhe. Ich fand das wirklich top. Ich habe schon ein bisschen Segelerfahrung und kenne die Basics vom Kiten, aber nach den zwei Stunden hatte ich das Gefühl, den Wing schon ganz gut im Griff zu haben. Was mir besonders gefallen hat, war, dass die Sicherheit echt ernst genommen wurde. Die Trainer haben immer ein Auge auf dich, und ich habe mich die ganze Zeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Kommunikation

Die Kommunikation lief super easy über WhatsApp. Ich konnte sogar für übermorgen noch einen Platz buchen, und das ging total unkompliziert. Mein Englisch ist jetzt nicht das beste – Hauptschule eben – aber die Kommunikation hat trotzdem erstaunlich gut funktioniert. Die Trainer haben sich echt Mühe gegeben, alles verständlich zu erklären. Ich glaube, die könnten einem das sogar ohne Worte beibringen.

Der Spot

Der Ort, an dem die Kiteschule trainiert, ist richtig schön und perfekt zum Üben. Ich hatte zwar an dem Tag nicht so viel Wind, aber es war trotzdem super, dort zu kiten. Leider bin ich wegen des schwachen Winds in die Mangroven abgetrieben, aber keine Sorge: Die haben mich schnell und sicher mit einem Motorboot rausgeholt.

Fazit

Alles in allem war die Session echt top. Für 130 € bekommt man hier wirklich viel, gerade wenn man bedenkt, dass man an anderen Spots für vier Stunden schnell mal 410 € los ist. Die Kiteschule ist super organisiert, die Trainer sind klasse, und der Spot ist einfach schön. Ich kann's nur weiterempfehlen, besonders wenn man schnell und sicher die Grundlagen lernen will.

Great place! The team is super experienced and helpful. They have top notch equipment and two motorboats so you always surf in the good spot. Just make sure you book lessons in advance, they get quite busy :) 100% recommend

Pour une première en kitesurf, je recommande à 100%. On progresse rapidement grâce à l’accompagnement par bateau avec le moniteur qui veille et donne un super feedback en direct (et ramène la planche quand le bodydrag n’est pas encore au point..)

Had such a great experience learning to Kite here. It's such a beautiful location and the lagoon is such great place to learn.

Dominique is a fantastic teacher and got me on the water much faster than I expected. He was great at explaining things and also making sure you stayed safe in the water. Lots of fun and hope very much to come back next year!

Půjčil jsem si zde kite vybavení na 2 hodiny. Krásné místo s velkou lagunou. Veškeré vybavení mi bylo nachystáno, loďkou mě zavezli na spot a mohl jsem v klidu jezdit a užívat si vodu jen pro sebe. Celou dobu jsem byl pod kontrolou, tak kdyby něco, člunem by mě přijeli pomoct. Vše v pořádku, děkuji za půjčení.

I had my first Kite Session with Henry. It was fantastic. He is a great teacher. I can recommend this place. They treat you well and have the latest equipment. Thanks Henry and the the team!

Wonderful place to kite, beautiful lagoon with turquoise water and not many people. I also highly recommend the kite school. Dom is a fantastic instructor and very knowledgeable. Best kite lessons ever!

My girlfriend and I were completely satisfied of the course we had, and highly recommend it ! The team is very nice, chill and professional. Advices and equipments are very optimal. The spot is wonderful and it's even possible to practice when the wind doesn't blow, so we never loose our time.

Super Crew und traumhafte Location !
Wir waren dort zum Wingfoilen. Da wir kein Equipment mitgebracht hatten, haben wir uns bei der Station für einen fairen Preis aktuellstes Fanatic/Duotone Material geliehen.
Der Spot ist riesig und sehr sicher. Solltest du doch mal ein Problem auf dem Wasser haben, mußt du dir keine Sorgen machen, denn das SK Team hat stets ein wachsames Auge auf dich. Ihre Tips und das High Level Know How zum Thema Foilen waren unbezahlbar.
Wenn es mal keinen Wind hat kannst du Downwinder oder ne Wakeboard Session buchen.

Great people and great venue for kite boarding and wing foiling.

I took my own kite and rented a kite foil board for the day. My father rented a wing foil board and wing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. You can kite from the beach but we elected to have them take us on their boat to deeper water.

Lagoon is amazing and massive so not over crowd.

Good for all levels of riders.

We will be returning. Highly recommended !
